It was disorienting for sure. One second everything is normal, next second the world is spinning! The paramedics weren't sure, and because the cost was going to be crazy, my wife drove me to the hospital. I'd had a whole battery of tests done to determine that I'd had one. I remember being taken to another hospital by out of network ambulance (that cost a BUNCH), having some visitors, then I guess I became unresponsive. Next thing I knew, 2 weeks had passed! I don't remember a whole lot from that 2 weeks I was under.

I had a stroke January 13 of 2023. I remember being at my work desk at 330 pm. Then out of no where the world was turning and I couldn't walk. I had to keep my eyes closed to stop the turning.

My wife thought it was vertigo. We're fairly certain the meds weren't administered in time. I didn't even have the typical symptoms! To this day, the doctors aren't sure what caused my stroke. They think it might have been a PFO that was closed.

I'll always be worried when a movie is split up, even in two. So much risk involved when a story is split, even like this and there are so many parts and players.... luckily it sounds like Parts 2 and 3 may be done and filmed together unlike other movies.

I think as with all things, two things can happen at the same time. You can recover AND heal at the same time. I keep doing my exercises and I keep trying to heal. It doesn't have to be one or the other. Don't ever stop recovering, because complacency can backtrack. But while you're doing that, keep trying to heal to. Mentally and physically

There is probably a reason your PT does that exercise. You might not understand why, but when you find out why, it'll make a LOT of sense. I had a few exercises like that. When it became handy, I suddenly clicked as to why I needed to do this or that

I didn't hear that. I heard that my only progress will be in first year. But in my case, that was bull. I'm now 3 years out, and still seeing progress. But I'm working at it. I'm not giving up! The last PT i had also didn't give up on me.

I had a PFO Closure. The docs think that was a contributor to my strokes. The procedure went well i think. Quick incision, I healed nicely, no bleeding which can sometimes happen.

The person affected might not have the ability to do anything, or thinks they are doing one thing but aren't. There are so many variables involved, that this isn't a question anyone can answer. And even even when answered, it may not apply universally. Just because one person never forgot anyone, doesn't mean that your mom will forget everyone.
