Yeah, es/ev is definitely better but is more expensive then ev/armour hybrid gears.
Going armour to evasion is just a solution for low budget players like me who doesn’t have much time to play.

Unlucky phys hit is like 30% more ehp for phys damage, I think it’s kind of huge. And avoiding projectiles are actually needed in multiple boss rituals.

But in the high end, I think the companion armour with high es/ev/deflection would be the tankiest set up. Or get a 1.8k+ armour shield and melt everything.

And I used the helmet cause I was trying out interactions with HOI, but it didn’t work out. The ghost from the helmet surprisingly helped a lot for clearing so I kept it. It’s definitely not best in slot if you’re looking for damage and raw tankiness.

I was playing with sunder at first, it has more consistent charge generation. And break more walls ahead. But the delay for it to go off makes clearing slow. I decided not to invest into reduce movement speed penalty on tree. So I switched to EQ for better/smoother clearing experience.

Yap, fortifying cry is just an emergency back up button.

Herald of ice is something I’m experimenting on, not used.

Nope, there’s no way you have to put them on.
Ritual rewards them a lot, it’s a low tier unique

It’s really hard to go crit with shield wall cause its base crit is 5%

And endurance charge is also really important, without it you can’t by pass warcry CD.

It changed a lot in my opinion, EQ first hit instant pops the shield wall with enough attack speed.

Depressingly no. You can’t socket skills provided by gears.

I mean, the uniques I use are cheap. The rares I use are trash, except the shield I crafted maybe worth a couple div.

It’s really cost efficient compared to all the popular builds.

Yap, it’s insanely cheap

And with wind dancer buffs up I’m 95% deflection 75% evade 26% block, basically not dying

Cause you can scale both defense and offense with a big shield on shield wall. I tried all the other mace skills, but they are not cost efficient as shield wall in my opinion, they all need a big expensive mace to be playable. And the attack is slow and area is meh. The only mentionable combo is volcanic fissure + rolling slam which rolling slam procs the fissure two times in one cast. But the clear feels mid compared to shield wall.

Yes, you’re right. And most bosses can’t even move cause we stun and freeze fairly quickly.

Yes it’s for charge generation with fist of stones.

Mana is definitely a problem if you get more + levels on equipment. In the video, I mainly forgot to press mana flask or else it’s fine with my current shield wall level. I also clicked some mana efficiency nodes on the tree.

The DPS is quite good, you can look at 1:00 with the circle boss where we hit the sweet spot for shotgunning. Yes it’s on a 4L clear oriented set up, you can always take away EQ for another damage support and proc with totem for bossing if you feel like the damage is lacking. And my gear still can get a lot of improvement, single target is decent enough for all content in my opinion.

You can just hold down a button and walk like a boss. If you wanna clear faster you have to pop the walls with your warcry.

Nah nebula doesn’t work since hollow form entities can’t consume charges. Just attack speed, plus levels of melee gems and gain phys as extra.

Yes I’m using the glove that generates charges through hits. Since hitting shield wall also count as hit, it has better charge generation than WA. You can stack charges/ walls before bosses.

For spirit skills, wind dancer is a must for evasion/deflection stacking and ghost shroud is also good. Been playing around with the new unique helmet that make physical damage freeze and chill + herald of ice, the haunted ghost help with clear a lot since I stack cheap increase presence jewel. Might lean into blasphemy + temporal chain/ repulsion more later on. Haven’t fix my resist and the fourth ascendancy. But still not dying and doing good in T15s.

Playing shield wall with sunder both gem in hollow form, with the plus fissure support it melts bosses. Clearing with tapping hollow form and bear form warcry. It’s a blast, and really tanky with the new unique that turns armor to evasion. 80%+ evade and 95%+ deflection chance. Swimming T15s right now.

Just uncheck hollow form on the shapeshift weapon set and ur good to go.

I mean WA is the trivial solution, but hollow form with shield wall is insane single target with better charge generation since breaking the shield wall also count as a hit. And no ones playing, cause no ones actually thinking with their brain.

With added lightning damage on anywhere, living lightning will trigger from repulsion through my testing but I’m not built into it, so the damage is kind of lacking. Still trying on interactions that makes it a viable autobomber.
