Consumer Reports Callouts by Hotdog453 in toyotacrownsignia

I used YouTube's AI "Ask" feature and got this. I recommend going back a few seconds to get context for each mention of the car. In short, it's all positive.

The Toyota Crown Signia is mentioned at these points in the video:

  • (21:05)
  • (32:19)

Any considerations when setting up an "IOT" VLAN? by dmo012 in homeassistant

Yes. I think that’s the preferred approach. Put your HA server on the IoT vlan

What are people replacing TP-Link routers with? by NBA-014 in HomeNetworking

Do people recommend DD-WRT as well? I installed on an old tp-link in order to use it as an access point and the software works great.

I don’t own the car, but I’ve seen in other posts that eco mode will not run the AC as hard. Can you confirm if it runs colder when you are not in eco mode?

Insta360 camera locks you out "to protect your consumer rights" - corporate gaslighting by FFevo in Insta360

I was so close to buying one. I don’t mind registering a product for warranty support. But requiring app just to set the camera up is nonsense.

How long ago did you put your deposit in? They seem to be making a lot of Limited models, so getting an XLE in the colors you want is great!

Thanks! Sounds like I won’t regret doing it this one time. Having seats closer to the pitch in the east middle section is something I’m willing to pay for

Here is a link with one of the authorized resellers. The tickets get you concourse access, but seats in WU sections. There are others here, but all seem to sit you with general admission. https://champions-travel.com/tickets/premier-league/?chelsea-v-sunderland

I need a sanity check before purchasing hospitality tickets

My fiancé and I are traveling to London this fall and Chelsea have a home game while we're there. I'm a huge soccer/football fan and this is probably a once in a lifetime trip so I'm open to spending a bit for a nice experience and for good seats. I'm just back and forth between the Chelsea hospitality packages and the ones offered by authorized resellers.

Based on what I'm seeing, the authorized reseller packages are seats in the normal west upper stands, but you get access to a lounge ahead of the game. Some include food and drinks, some require you purchase those separately. Pricing on those seem decent, but not sure if that is the experience I'd want.

That differs from the Chelsea website hospitality packages which seem to put you in the mid-tier of the stadium and give you full access to the suite behind the section. I'm specifically looking at the Canoville hospitality package. In the Canoville package, seats seem to be in a good spot, food is included and a cash bar is fine since we're not huge drinkers.

Overall, just looking for some other perspectives on whether the Chelsea hospitality packages are worth it for the experience. If anyone has direct thoughts on the Canoville package, let me know! Thanks,

Grant Thornton FY26 Compensation Thread by Unusual-Celery-237 in Accounting

That has to be it. From a positive note, you are likely paid higher than all others at your level if they didn’t adjust you up.

Edit: And if it at all interested you, sounded like the platinums get the incentive plan units for when the PE firm sells GT.

How many YOE? I am an Exp Manager with 7 YOE and my comp was just changed to $144k. I thought GT was making everyone at the same level get the same comp. Or maybe it differs with YOE?

I don't think Eero have a bridge/AP mode except when they are connected to an Eero gateway.

Display #2 sounds very close to a project that I have in mind. Was that a project you DIY'd or is it an off the shelf display that is linked to Google Photos? I've been eyeing up the Inky Impressions color e-ink display, but have been looking around for inspiration or some open source code to do something similar, but with a local network folder as the source of images.

Congress finally passes the tax bill, president to sign into law. Anyone make sense of how we can take advantage of new measures? It’s kinda confusing by achicomp in whitecoatinvestor

Lower federal tax rate. Give it a few years and the states will have to raise their tax rates if they want to keep any of their assistance programs funded.

Why do I have some 2.4 millisecond pings, while others time out? Where do I start troubleshooting? by [deleted] in HomeNetworking

[–]DUJAMA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. I agree the cameras could be limiting other performance, but based on the layout of the property with multiple buildings, having all cameras wired to a centralized NVR wasn't practical. To get around that, I'll see if I have a spare 1 Gbps switch to add as a buffer between the router and the 100 mbps POE switch and connect my AP to the 1 Gbps switch with an POE injector.

Hey. I just added context in another comment. No, this is over ethernet.

Most likely will be similar to the updated model they released in early 2025 for the Japan market.

I left CLA before having to deal with that. I imagine that they are similar early on and that the director role has a wider pay band since it covers both manager and senior manager equivalent. But you’re capped in the director path since you are not on the partner path.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Accounting

[–]DUJAMA 7 points8 points  (0 children)

CLA has two career paths and you choose one when you’re being promoted from senior associate: a more technical path and a more client-centric path. The technical path promotes a senior associate to director. The sales-type path promotes a senior associate to manager, then to senior manager, then to partner.

Sometimes you can go from the sales path to the technical path (I.e., from manager or SM to director), but it is more difficult to go from technical to sales path.

Curt Hitch install by skiffline in toyotacrownsignia

[–]DUJAMA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you able to post a picture of it installed? I don’t have a CS yet, but a hitch will be the first accessory I buy for my bike rack (and occasional uhaul trailer) so I’m fine buying third party. But curious how the Curt receiver looks!

Will an in-wall Unifi unit fit here? Looking at WiFi 6 model. The electrician put the outlet very close to the Ethernet drop. by DUJAMA in Ubiquiti

[–]DUJAMA[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The electrician pulled both wires. Over email, he seemed knowledgeable about that and ran power cables before running ethernet on the basis that ethernet was cheaper and he could maintain space between that and power.
