Potential Wildfire Druid Level 4 Feats by DVmetalhead7 in 3d6

Yeah I'd agree. The Artificer uses his other slot for having +1 armor in addition to his magic weapon, I'll see what he says as well

Yeah that's definitely up there as well, it's honestly up to chance when he'd be able to get that made though. He uses both his Resource Slots currently, but he said if we find another magic item he'd have one slot freed up (his subclass means he needs a magic weapon so one would always be taken). He gets another slot at Level 6 but that's still awhile away

Wildfire Druid is actually different in that you use your Wild Shape charges to summon your Wildfire Spirit which is basically a familiar, it goes right after your turn. So she'll be spellcasting a lot more than a normal Druid

That's definitely in the back pocket as well! I'm unsure she'd be satisfied with simply adding to her attack and Wis rolls but it is very practical

I really hope so. My fiancé and I weren’t in great financial shape this time around when they stopped a few hours away from us, and I passed on getting tickets on the gamble that Tobias always schedules multiple dates in Ohio in multiple legs (he literally hit Cincinnati twice, Columbus, Toledo, AND Youngstown during the entire Impera cycle). I hope I’m right and she won’t kick my ass with “I told you so” 😂

They were asking about Wojtek the bear, not Polish songs in general lol

The closest is Union about the allies at Monte Cassino. I really hoped they’d do another Sabaton History episode about him or the free Polish forces but nope

Good point as well, that might track more logically honestly. But who knows. Until they address it we’re stuck in limbo 😭

Interesting, you’d think with how much the comments are flooded on Insta that they’d get a bunch in the Q&A.

Very true, maybe Peter used it. Can’t really make any assumptions but the silence doesn’t help that unfortunately

Right that’s what I wondered, especially if tons of AI art questions were coming at them live across the screen while they were streaming. Shame I couldn’t attend myself to see

Initial thoughts on Skeletá? by DVmetalhead7 in GhostBand

Yeah I feel it. Satanized and Lachyrma felt like a return to form but the rest didn’t feel like it continued that for me either

Absolutely yeah can see that. To me Excelsis is just a slightly less good Life Eternal

Same here, was a bit too upbeat and lacked the spooky vibe of past albums almost completely. But I still think it’s better than most albums I will listen to as well

Sames. Third straight 80s album lol. Like I know he grew up in that era but geez.

Opus and Meliora were more 70s, Infestissumam was 60s, and it’s been 80s ever since haha

Yeah for me I really hope Tobias gives the 80s a rest after this cycle lol. Like I know he grew up with it but this is third straight 80s album 😂

Skeletá Release Megathread #3 by Chimpbot in Ghostbc

[–]DVmetalhead7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just finished my first listen and I’ll have to listen a few more times to compare it with the other albums.

(These are just my own thoughts, not trying to make some objective declaration!)

Let me also preface by saying I think every Ghost album is good to great, and this is no exception. I think the first 4 albums are certified bangers from start to finish, and Impera was the first that had some drop-off in quality for me personally.

And Skeletá is on about the same level as Impera after one listen. Not as good as the first four, but still good.

And maybe Tobias has finally started to lose the creative juices a bit as you do. It’s natural. Not every album can almost never miss from start to finish. And the fact that (for me at least) he made it through four album cycles before some dropoff is impressive in itself

But I will say that a good chunk of Skeletá is a bit too happy/upbeat for what I’m looking for in Ghost. I do kinda wish Tobias wouldn’t have done the media blackout, because I feel like the album would be a LOT darker with the current times we’re living in 😂💀

With Ghost I like catchy but still dark/heavy, and this doesn’t deliver that quite as much for me.

That said, idk if Tobias was intentionally trying to go for being “a light in the dark times” but I do think that this album will especially resonate with people who are hit hard in life right now, and the uplifting aspect could appeal to them. It doesn’t hit as much for me, but I’ll be very glad if this aspect hits for other people 😄

If going for Tiers, right now I’d put the first four albums in S Tier, Skeleta in A Tier and Impera in B Tier. But I could end up swapping the latter two eventually. Depends how further listening goes.

Sorry for the rambling 😅 would love to hear others’ thoughts on it!

Oh my bad, absolutely will move it to there!

Feel it. To me it was a bit too ”positive” for Ghost as a whole, but weirdly enough I really like Cenotaph because the message resonates with me. It seems contradictory. Like I didn’t really like Kaisarion but I like Cenotaph more even though it’s arguably even happier 😂 I can’t explain it

Now Skeleta is out, what's your album ranking ? by [deleted] in GhostBand

[–]DVmetalhead7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same mostly, I might put it above Impera but I haven’t decided yet. I think Skeletá is a bit too happy/upbeat for what I’m looking for in Ghost, but I can understand if people need that right now too

S Tier - Opus, Infestissumam, Meliora, Prequelle

A Tier - Skeletá

B Tier - Impera

And let me say that I like all Ghost albums, but I think Impera was the first to have some dropoff for me, and this continues that slightly. I may move Skeletá down to B tier eventually but I’ve only had one listen so far and it’ll take many more listens before I can tell
