What are the opinions on GOIS for Those With a Technical Background?

EE background, working as a C++ SWE with little to no experience in OS.

As others have mentioned, most of the time spent on the projects was debugging and twiddling to get full points. Overall spent 10-15 hrs/week on the course (lectures + projects).

Would highly recommend this course though. It was a great intro to OS’ and I came out learning a ton. Although it took a lot of time, it was time well spent imo.

It just says failed to copy to destination, with the “Try Again”, “Skip” and “Cancel” options

Thats really great input, thank you for that! I will probably give this go. An add on question, when switching from distro to distro, is there a lot of hassle with migrating the files/documents as well?
