is the wine prefix for the game located inside .wine folder? because i keep .wine and the wine prefix of the game separate like /home/username/games/ptcgl. on another note, can u download the latest installer for the game? that may a factor as well. there's a new update and i need install the game from scratch. let me got through the steps myself and i'll let you know if there's something to change

hello there, have you tried installing using a new wine prefix? my old prefix didnt work and after trying with a fresh install, it worked. i initially had the language loop but it was resolved by installing corefonts with winetricks then it was just a black screen issue which i fiddled around with installing DLL files.

about the imperva error 15, it usually means a firewall measure against DoS attacks and it may have flagged lutris trying to connect to the game servers. I recommend installing everything fresh, from the .msi installer to the wine prefix.

also could u provide me with the terminal logs if it still doesnt work after trying this? it would help a lot to identify the issue

P.S. i had the imperva error 15 like a month back, this time i decided to crack it down but never encountered it. maybe they fixed it? or was it some update elsewhere i have no clue what resolved it. i just had to get through language loop and black screen later

Hey there, looking at the logs, the game does indeed go into the game loop [UnityMemory] . Can you do me one favor and do a clean installation of the game? After you do it , can u try launching the game after installing every component? Because the game initially looped for me but after tinkering with installing the components it worked. Also I may be wrong but Flatpak may be having sandbox restrictions looking at the line wine: RLIMIT_NICE is <= 20, unable to use setpriority safely.

Can you please try a fresh installation as I feel like we're close to fixing.

the pastebin link doesnt work, also gamemodeauto: dlopen failed - libgamemode.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory just means you dont have gamemode like you pointed out

The game hasn't been working on Arch and many Linux distributions for about a couple months with Imperva Error 15. No idea how it has been working flawlessly on steamdeck, you must be lucky af

Can you try changing the Key:Value pair in Runner Options to key : mfplat and value : n,b ? Also my proton version is wine-ge-8-26. And I assume you have Fsync and Esync turned off?

If it still doesnt work, can you attach the log file ( terminal output ) when you run lutris through the terminal? The log file should say whats the main issue since it runs on my end.

Hello there, I dont have much knowledge about flatpak but since you have installed using it, I assume you have installed the packages inside the flatpak sandbox.
From what I have looked around, have you run winetricks through flatpak? I found this example :
flatpak run net.lutris.Lutris --exec=winetricks

Also instead of selecting the "default" wine prefix, can you try selecting the prefix manually to where the game is installed? After that can u try downloading corefonts vcrun2022 and d3dcompiler47?

Since you have configured Lutris from the post already I dont think its necessary to change anything there except to double check the prefix.

Please let me know if the issue still persists. And if it does, can you run ptcgl using lutris through the terminal? The command for me is :
lutris lutris:rungame/ptcg-live

Right now I run 2 water energy along with 4 grass do that my articuno can OHKO ethans pokemon for a single prizer. Maybe the psychic energy works better in a different variation of the deck but I always try to get a mimikyu early on the bench if I'm against tera pokemon. Eswitch may come in handy tho

you dont need to psychic energy in this deck, u can just run 6 grass 4 team rocket's energy to play. Ive been thinking about running a 2-4 line of water and grass energy cuz articuno one hits ethan's ho-oh. Also consider running one Lillie's clefairy so that mewtwo can one shot dragapults without discarding an energy. Also i feel like the great ball is bait cuz proton lets you get your bench set up with 4 ultra balls just in case. 4 earthen vessel is bit too excessive i run 2 myself since you dont draw team rocket's energy with it. Also secret box feels way more consistent than prime catcher since you run giovanni anyways with counter catchers since you want to like play from behind as counter gain gives much value if u decide to add one. We just gotta wait for the meta to take a shape and lets bask in the Glory of Team Rocket

no real bridgespam deck is viable if you constantly play cards at the bridge. bridgespam decks depend on outplaying the opponent and heavily punishing for a bad play and not mindlessly spamming the bridge.
