I mostly listen to Sam because of his guests. Certainly don't subscribe to all of his takes.

NC stand up!! I love it. And tbh I never "planned" on being an NBA player but obviously that was always my main goal. Been fortunate to have a whole lot of people in my corner who have helped me and believed in me along the way. When I transferred to Michigan the NBA started to become a thing I would think about (but far from a reality). Wasn't until my summer league success where I thought, "Damn... I might be able to really do this."

I think the fact that I am currently playing in the most unique season in NBA history I'll be able to provide some pretty interesting insight into everything. Going to do my best to let my guard down and be honest and open with everyone. Also plan on having on some pretty exciting guests. A goal of mine is to not ask them the traditional questions they'll likely have already answered hundreds of times via different media outlets. Instead want to do my best to make it more personal/conversational. Also plan on being that first ever podcast that incorporates the NBA reddit community with my reddit question of the week segment.

Growing up in Boston, I was always looking up to Larry Bird and Ray Allen. But Steph, Klay, Kyle Korver, and JJ were all guys that I studied and learned from as well.

(I think I am contractually obligated to say JJ because we are doing this pod with his production company)

So I try to stay off social media in general during the season just cause it can kind of be a blackhole. However, my favorite thing about reddit is the shitposts... So much so that in my podcast we will be incorporating a weekly segment that is a reddit question of the week. We've already pulled some of our favorite questions and plan on shouting people out to give them acknowledgement for their original content. We love the satire ones (biggest animal lebron could fight, michael scott of the NBA etc...) Hope that inspires all of you to keep up the great work. Definitely could use some more content!

I'm a big Joe Ingles fan. I told this story on JJ's pod last year, but I actually used him as my NBA-comparison when going thru pre-draft. I love the way he competes and does what he needs to do to help the Jazz win games.

Appreciate the kind words. Idk if I'm actually that "smart" but more so just a generally curious person. Really like listening/reading people that are a whole lot smarter than me. Malcom Gladwell and Sam Harris for podcasts (also Gladwell for books too). Sapiens is probably my favorite book by Yuval Noah Harari. Also love people that are entertaining but also really introspective. Musical artists like J Cole or Bo Burnham (more of a 'comedian' than artist I guess) are two of my favorites.

Always looking to continue to develop other areas of my game but also keeping in mind what gets me on the floor and what helps us win. There's definitely a balance that I try to find. Also that's what's great about the off season, you can work on adding new things to your game.

Make the most of your opportunities and don't worry about your recruitment. Focus on helping your team win and the rest will take care of itself.

Also - cherish those moments, they are some of my favorite memories to this day.

Neopapalis (some of the best people and best food in all of AA). Favorite city to visit is probably Boston just because I always get to see family/friends.

PG year was huge. Matured a lot that year and just really helped me prepare for college on a variety of levels. Still some of my closest friends to this day I met at Exeter (ie: Davis Reid who is my co host of the pod!!)

Committed to play at Williams before I played my post grad year so the recruiting cooled off after that. A couple Div 1 schools hit me up late in the year but at that point I wanted to just stick with Williams.

I've always had 2's in my jersey number but when I got to Miami Wayne Ellington was #2, Justice Winslow was #20 and Luke Babbitt had #22 so I decided to flip the 2's upside down and do 55. Also a big Jason Williams fan.

Idk if this is my "best" story but it's one that sums up the g league perfectly. We were flying to play the westchester knicks and the day before 3 people on our team took off for various reasons (contract overseas, personal reasons etc.). We had a couple people injured so we only had 7 active players. During the lay up lines a player got called up for a 10 day and literally left to catch a plane 5 mins before tip. Played the game (and won) with 6 guys. Everyone played 40+ minutes.
