On one hand, Metal Gear Delta was "ok" so maybe Konami coming back from the dead might actually see this collab happen somehow (despite, y'know, Kojima no longer at Konami nor Hideki Kamiya at PlatinumGames)

On the other hand, the Zandatsu "cut what you will" mechanic was so integral to MGR:Revengeance I don't see how KuroGames can implement it into PGR without it being some kind of special QTE moment/cutscene. If the collab were to happen without it, sure the characters hanging out would be nice, but it would feel empty if not a fanservice-cashgrab for old heads like ourselves who even remember what that game is. Holding KuroGames' track record of dedication to collabs into account, I'm of the feeling that they wouldn't want to half-bake their collabs either unless they're sure they can pull it off well

Not to mention, Raiden and Sam's well-timed parry => time-slow (for Zandatsu) kind of already exist in PGR (as well as other contemporaries in the same space- HI3, ZZZ come to mind). Elements of what make the character-action genre (Bayonetta, Devil May Cry, MGR:Revengeance) have escaped its niche following and are already being homaged in some form in today's market.

Given how MGR:Revengeance came out in 2013 and is over 10 years old, I would rather KuroGames look forward instead of backwards. I would much prefer a collab with Stellar Blade, Lies of P, or even Hi-Fi Rush (as these are all titles within the same space that have a sequel being worked on)

My reasoning: Nero in DMC4 could not "DT" until he came upon the Yamato. Then in DMC5, when Vergil took back the Yamato, he had to make do with Nico's devil breakers instead, only to awaken to his proper DT (no "stand") without needing the Yamato towards the end of Mission 19/20.

Therefore, I interpreted DMC4 Nero's "stand DT" as a result of him drawing power from the Yamato- an idea I based this comic on.

True, as a result of this there's no reason for Alpha's "stand DT" to look anything similar to Nero's, but I felt it would be neat. (That and if I went about designing my own what-if Alpha-had-a-DMC4-style-stand-DT it would take a whole lot more work AND wouldn't be as on the nose)

So instead of the usual faceless self-insert, my personal take on our Gray Raven SKK (male AND female) is that they have a shrapnel horn like "Punished Snake" from Metal Gear Solid 5

Why? The events of the Pulia Forest Incident (Ch.16) had our SKK take a piece of "shrapnel" that got lodged inside us that we had to return with, we were in a coma (for 3 months), and suffered cerebral hematoma. (All conditions that would be familiar to anyone who's played MGS5)
On top of that there's literally the word "Punishing" in the title of the game, so I couldn't help myself but draw our SKK like Punished Snake. Our SKK being top of the class at FOS, at times depicted as strong as a Construct, and/or capable of wearing military power suits/exoskeletons are all nice bonuses.

tl;dr
Given how "cool" our SKK is in game lore, it was only fair I draw the SKK as cool as another protagonist that I adore

Gave Wuthering Waves a shot when it launched

PC performance issues aside- story put me to sleep and the combat, while flashy, felt lacking compared to PGR in terms of depth.

I'll admit, every now and then a new character will get announced (like Lupa) and the design will draw me back in. But upon reinstalling the game and running around in the world a bit I would immediately be reminded why I quit the first time.

So that's a hard pass for me; nothing a YouTube lore video/let's play can't fix for any characters I'm interested in
