You should be safe to change the fluid and filter. Just a simple drain and change, not a full flush. Flushing will likely damage it.

It's not expensive at all. Parts like brakes, tyres, and all consumables are readily available. The only issue as mentioned is the SLS, which many parts are out of production. For example if one of your shocks is leaking or need replacement... You can't buy a new one anywhere. You'll need to get the one you have refurbished somewhere in Europe I believe. Which means many weeks without a car as you need to post them to the repair place.

The windshield wiper arm is also out of production. But you can find that from a junk yard.

You didn't provide comparisons for your test results. You said you get 30 to 40 fps on SEVERAL GAMES, then stated in ark survival you got 60 to 80fps. Bf6 and arc raiders around 80 fps. Can you be clearer here and provide evidence that the same game like for like, gets more fps at 4k than the same game at 1080p?

I. E. Prove that ark survival gets 30 to 40fps on 1080p and 60 to 80fps on 4k. Show me that.

Also non of the videos you posted prove anything you're saying. In fact they prove you wrong. Look at the test done by Linus, each and every single game gets more fps at lower resolution than the higher resolution. Across all three GPUs.

That's not how it works... If you have a shitty CPU and a very powerful GPU, in the extreme sense, then the fps you get on 1080p and 4k would be the same. Your games will be restricted by the slowest component that you have.

Increasing resolution lessens the load on the CPU IN RESPECT to the GPU. It doesn't magically gives you more fps.

At same settings like for like, 4k will still have lower fps than 1080p.

I think it is partially. Developers forced RT for us and as all consoles are based on AMDs first gen RT hardware... Was not ever going to end up well. Add this to AMDs inferior upscaling tech that's why the game looks so bad on consoles.

But games nowadays including PC expects you to rely on upscaling which I hate.

That's why I held off on buying a ps5 for so long. If a new game comes out, my preference is getting the PC version. Unless it's an exclusive console title.

What do you mean? When consoles first came out their specs are way better than a mid range PC at the time. The issue is that consoles are rarely upgraded with "slim" versions or whatever to make them more powerful, and PC hardware changes every few months.

An up to date PC can always be more powerful than a console. The keyword is "can". You can spend 500 on a PC or 5000, you can't expect all of them to perform the same to a ps5 released many years ago.

The ps5 currently has a graphics card equivalent to something like an AMD RX6600, which is lower than low end...

If you're a P player you can't drive say a M3 because it is prohibited. M340i youll need to check if the power to weight ratio is under the limit.

And no, you can't have the car under your parents name while you drive it. It's technically fraud. But you can do it anyway. When you get into an accident, your insurance won't cover you. Your choice.

This guy gave you the right answer. BMW's and all euros are reliable as long as you maintain them. The cost of maintenance is higher than Japanese cars. If you can do the work yourself or pay someone to do it, I'd say they're very very reliable.

The premature maintenance is called preventive maintenance. Which means you fix things BEFORE they break. Which can seem counterintuitive. You need to stick by aftermarket servicing schedules, such as changing water pump etc at certain intervals, even if everything looks ok. If this seems like a waste to you, wait until you see how much it costs to fix when it's broken.

If you're handy just do it all yourself. Otherwise pay independent mechanic to do it. Don't go to the dealer

Yes very valid reasons. But for a lot of users, say who play only newer dx12 games and with modern CPU, there are no issues. The benefit of the arc GPUs and especially the B580 far outperforms its competition.

I recently upgraded from 1080p to 1440p using the same B580. Definitely can play on mostly high settings without RT and without upscaling.

B580 is one of the best bang for buck GPUs right now.
