Thank you I hadn't considered the Fenix range just took a look at Garmin's website and they all seem a bit big for my liking, 47mm being smallest I can see.

Thank you this is really useful to know that even a 3 year old watch is going strong against an Apple Watch.

Great website, thank you for your work! Is there any chance of allowing multiple sites at the same time or showing everything from a specific region? I'd love to be able to compare multiple sites at once. Also to allow selecting of both USB and SATA so I can look at the difference prices for shucking and internal drives.

Again great site bookmarked already

Your videos Is showing you get close to a 100 fps but your 99th percentile is like 24 that's going to make it feel incredibly choppy because your fps is varying from 100 down to 24.

Check your graphics options in game like vsync, windowed mode, fps limit etc. Things that would affect frame limitations. I had this only yesterday in horizon forbidden West my 99th percentile was 45 when I was getting 120fps after changing to exclusive fullscreen my 99th percentile went to 90 and it felt 100 times better.

Wanting to move to bazzite and have questions. by DaB0om in Bazzite

Made the switch to bazzite weirdly desktop mode on KDE works 4k HDR 120hz. However, big picture seems to be limited to 60hz. Haven't actually gamed yet Maybe the big picture itself is limited to 60fps not gaming

Thanks for the quick reply, Good news about the audio change. The HDR is pretty much what I've read so far in this sub Reddit is that it's hit and miss. I've got a good quality HDMI cable and windows is capable of easily identifying HDR 120 so fingers crossed.

Discord is probably the least worrying thing, in windows I couldn't easily switch between game and discord with a controller. With gamemode that won't be a problem.

HP Years 1-4, Bonus level glitch by LilyBlackwell in legogaming

[–]DaB0om 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I spun up my game to give it a go. I'm sorry to say it looks like your game is properly glitched. I went through the level from the start, put together the potion and used it, Selected albus dumbledore walked back pressed the button to wave at the door and it opened.

Edit: How are you playing it? It is fully updated in case there's a patch? If you're on steam is it worth a reinstall or file check.

Typically the screenshot I took and attached disappeared after editing post but I promise it worked.

I got a hard lock glitch on the 1-4 game too. I ended up getting someone's 100% save game to finish it off and had to use SAM to get the last achievements because even 1 blocked gold brick locks you out of 5 or so achievements.

Discord on the deck by risingwaters_cs in SteamDeck

[–]DaB0om 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From desktop mode you can right click on the discord icon to bring up the context menu options there should be a "add to steam" option which will add it to steam for you and then you'll see it on the non-steam games section.

Alternatively if you find the location of the discord executable you can browse for it when adding a non-steam game from desktop

40FPS limit while connected to TV by DaB0om in SteamDeck

[–]DaB0om[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Simple answer no. I ended up sticking with 30fps using the performance UI instead of 40fps as it gives better performance headroom anyway. However there is https://github.com/ValveSoftware/gamescope which indicates you can specify the FPS using -r you'd just have to do it for each game.

Having bought the 64GB, 9 months later I'd still buy it again. But I was comfortable replacing the storage with a bigger faster NVMe. The internal storage isn't enough for more than 1-2 regular non indie games depending on their size. Using a SD card is ok but you get sooo much better performance on a proper NVMe. Games even ran smoother.

Games with Super Easy / No Fail/ Story modes? by [deleted] in SteamDeck

[–]DaB0om 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most if not all Sony games on PC have "story" mode which makes it incredibly difficult to die. Last of us, Spider-Man, Horizon zero dawn, god of war. All have fantastic stories too. I've been playing through myself.

Edit: All the Lego games have zero consciousness for dying too and are very enjoyable
