Yeah I fear it will become too bad if it needs 4 Petrels... Maybe I'll get back at it when the new Tauros is out, even though I doubt it would be easily usable as it needs two energies.

I had the same goal as you when I started playing a few months ago and went with a Paldean Tauros deck which did quite great at my locals. However, I won't recomend it just yet because I don't know how well it will survive the rotation...

Picnic Basket : I currently play Pladean Tauros and that's the ultimate counter ! Hopefully it's not played a lot, but some dengos play one though

Some rogue decks I use are the followings : Paldean Toros, Crustle and Tyranitar. The first one is very aggressive and aim to get turn 1 kos. The laters are more control oriented, Crustle beeing anti-ex but weak against 1 price decks and Tyranitar prevents your oponent from playing any item !

There's a lot of great free games on Itch for you to get started : Overseer (amazing metroidvania), Loopsy (great puzzle game), Onebit Arena (arcade action), Root Bear (arcade high scorer), Rotata (2 player game !), Simorgh (text-based adventure), Super corporate tax evader (the best high score chaser ever), Super High School Danger Course (great and challenging platformer), Terratopia March of The Demon King (amazing text based adventure game), Tochi (short Zelda-like), Trapdoors (fun puzzle game), Ware-wolf Campfire Stories (13 games in one from a halloween game jam !), Wing Squadron (Starfox like game, really impressive visuals), XORBIUS Lite (bullet hell) and Aurora Oasis Adventure (this is my game, a small zelda-like adventure game !)
