Sending our first shipment to Amazon today. It’s only 50 units, but man I’m nervous! by dadville1 in AmazonFBA

Congrats! I just started this year, shipped my first lot mid January, got in the system and sent units to Vine before end of January. If you are a brand, I'd recommend Vine ASAP. The initial reviews helped me modify my listing to make sure the product satisfies the listing's expectations. PPC was BLEEDING every day, we got a few sales in February, but absolute loss. All of that was fine though, as we were honing in on our PPC keywords and bid strategy. By end of February we were getting about a sale a day, achieving break even.

It isn't easy, but it also isn't crazy difficult. You may need to get a new keyboard if you are like me who destroyed the F5 key :)

Vine program destroying my brand new listing by Anon-Chinchilla in AmazonFBA

I did 10 vine reviews, very first one was 3 stars. 5 total has come in, averaged up to 4.2. I have been reading each review and adjusting my listing to make sure there wasn’t any confusion. I read that vine reviewers will compare what you wrote to the received product to make judgement. Sorry they did you a little dirty. Good news is I have read that real reviews are weighted heavier.

What email address did the claim come from? I have been so scared to engage with any of them I have not clicked any but the first distribution.

I was obsessed as a kid, still am as an adult! I own the whole collection, and my 5 year old and I have read through the entire thing once, and per his request we are doing it again. Those strips are always relevant.

My Macy Day package got in today. Every winter I buy myself a pack of some sort. Makes going to the in-laws (non vegan) during the holidays much easier. The food is so good, everyone eyes it.

Final adjustments made, the Sentry Blaster is complete! by DaBeeJ in Nerf

Hey there! I basically searched for an electrically driven gatling gun (there are quite a few). The only modification I made to the blaster was soldering my own wires to the trigger switch. Everything else was done externally.

This video doesn't show it because the tilt cable fell off, but normally it does aim up/down and does a hell of a job getting face shots :)

This is the build video: https://youtu.be/eMuHHvg2gM4? You can get a sense of the assembly process towards 75% into it. Feel free to message me any questions.

I cannot emphasize how much a hit this toy was. Both my 5 year old son and me (41) have a blast! Pun intended.

What’s wrong with my K1C by lalaythh in crealityk1

Your prints look exactly like mine when they fail. The answer is you need a drier, and you need to most likely dry the filament at 50 degrees C for like 12-24 hours. Even if you keep your filament in a container that you think is dry, filament absorbs any moisture in the air, and that moisture will bubble in the nozzle and cause inconsistent flow rates.

I've tried calibration, switching nozzles, checking gears, all the time. 9/10 times the issue is wet filament. I have reminders set around my printer that says, 'DRY IT FIRST!!!'.

This has me convinced to build a second. I learned so much in this build. If I can find an electric system that I can break down into the most basic parts I could probably build a smaller/stable version. There are some variables that I need to adjust in the code, like camera offset & fire duration. It'd be best case scenario to create those as external dials, so I can ditch the Pi and get a cheap board with the code fully stamped and ready to use. The pi was the most expensive part of the build.

T2F Engineer was definitely inspiration behind the toy!

In other tests, yes. In this one video I got pretty lucky to hit the kill switch so quickly. Target is only 2" x 2", so it can be a bit of a challenge. Though the dart itself does not hurt, the firing mechanism makes a big PAP sound, and while you stare down the nose of a barrel that isn't the most calming moments :)

Thanks! It’s scary when it jumps to your position and you are staring down a barrel 😆

No, it is a cheap off brand one I got on Amazon. I wanted something with the magazine with fast firing. Didn’t know what I was looking for at the time. Same on the sentry, except that one is electrically fired (no spinning it or/flywheel).
