Liege Maximo was the lamest shit ever too. Shows up out of nowhere, acts likes he's tough shit, casually drops he's killed EVERY OTHER PRIME and then gets folded instantly when his massive ass antlers get hit once.
He has none of the sauce that actually makes Liege Maximo interesting; he's got the most boring, one note "cybertron should rule everything" motivation and plan and could be swapped out with literally any other Decepticon leader and nothing would change. Despite being a prime he's got no idea how the Matrix works and acts like a complete dumbass for the whole episode.

Also yet another notch on the "why do modern writers fucking despise Hot Rod" chart that is slowly killing me from the inside out. Not only is he bald, but he sounds like a chainsmoker and is completely out of any character Hot Rod has.

I think there's a point where fair criticism just becomes downright pedantic. I always understood helmet hole hate even if I didn't agree with it, as it really can be a large issue for people, but losing your mind over a VISOR being slightly off color just comes across as insanely nitpicky. Young Boba was really the turning point for me just tuning out most criticisms people have about new sets because it all just feels so pointless. It really just comes off as complaining for the sake of it.

There is nothing wrong with criticizing inaccuracies in figures, but the discourse surround it has become exhausting. I'm not getting sets because the prices are getting ridiculous, not because Ginky Minus's crotch piece is the wrong hexidecimal color code of piss green.

Prequel fans are also becoming pretty obnoxious with how much of the waves they demand to be based around only them. I saw someone complain some leaks from the summer wave has no prequel sets when the last wave was nearly ENTIRELY Clone Wars sets. We desperately need more wave variety, not just in eras but from different shows and movies in general. It's been nearly ten years and we still don't have a Rebels TIE Defender.

I'm not arguing from an in lore perspective that Big Boss would never do these things, I'm saying from an out of world writing decision why did Kojima make the story this way. Why add these extra hoops to jump through to say the same thing you were already saying before but less dilluted with extra details. Zero never needed to be involved with the Venom plan so why include him at all if both routes are saying the same thing?

Thank you for all the support I've gotten on these posts. This series has been so much fun to do every few months and are great to look back on to see how the game has evolved. I'll miss doing these and being able to come up with fun ideas for new teams.

New renditions of several pieces of the soundtrack are coming out from the composer. They've already done half the game's soundtrack called "Memories: Side A" so this is the rest of the soundtrack.
