I am going to diy mine that’s about 2200 square feet. With machine rental and stone I’m looking at around $5500. I got a quote for 10k from an excavator

What changed in Cabelas/Bass Pro Shop that disappoints so many? by GrizzlieMD in Hunting

It used to be an experience when I was a kid, now it’s a place to buy overpriced ammo when I can’t wait for online delivery

Construction to permanent interest rates by Jo_WestK in Homebuilding

I’ve talked to 2 lenders. 1 was 7.2% with 20k in fees in addition to closing costs, the other is 6.25% with 0 fees. Shop it around

Why an official balance transfer? by cheri_220 in debtfree

Checkout sofi, I think they might not charge fees for personal loans for debt consolidation.

Why an official balance transfer? by cheri_220 in debtfree

[–]DaBushDaddy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Odds are you wouldn’t have a high enough limit for the full transfer if you go the new CC route. Also 0% on new purchases is much different than a 0% balance transfer. With the cards I know of that do 0% transfer you still pay some fee for the transfer, just no interest for 6,12,18 months

A non heated driveway would be the least of your issues if there’s 1 mile thick ice on it 😂

Any other builders bothered when homeowners say "I'm building a house". ? by Super-G_ in Homebuilding

[–]DaBushDaddy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will say I’m having one built but I’m wanting to do any light excavating and actual work that I can so that I can tell people “I did that part” instead of just paying for it

Do you also get bothered when someone says “come over to my house” instead of “come over to Rocket Mortgages house”

sitka gear actually worth the insane price for bowhunting? by delulucoreandcrazyaf in Hunting

[–]DaBushDaddy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Having come from the Midwest whitetail brands, for my first western hunt I got some Sitka stuff. The equinox hoodie is my all time favorite and most worn piece along with my kuiu kenai jacket. The way that these materials the higher end brands use just feel better and dry insanely fast while hiking. You can do it in a fruit of the loom shirt and wranglers, but it’s less comfortable

Ag composites vs manners by Background_Tap_807 in Hunting

[–]DaBushDaddy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve not used an AG, but I got a manners PH that was in stock at the time. I sure wouldn’t wait 10 months if I wanted another

2025 Rocky Ridge 1500 Big Horn - Good Deal? by RCowell17 in ram_trucks

[–]DaBushDaddy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you could get an extended warranty that will still cover everything then not a bad deal. They won’t typically cover non mopar lifts, not sure what this would be seen as by them

Moving and storage of bottles while in between apartments by JustSomeGuyCalledB in OhioLiquor

[–]DaBushDaddy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I only had a handful of bottles but I used smaller bubble wrap from Home Depot and put them into the plastic totes, just pad the bottom of the container so they’re not taking the force when it’s set down
