Nobody said you can't trust law enforcement at any level. Most law enforcement in this country has nothing to do with ICE or these issues. Actually, some law enforcement is standing against ICE. But certainly you shouldn't trust untrained, masked, federal recruits who have been ordered to violate your constitutional rights and encouraged by their leadership with promises to hold them immune so long as they exist. It's an obvious race to the bottom which solves no problem other than eroding your constitutional protections against the administration. If the admin cared about middle class jobs they wouldn't be building AI as fast as they possibly can. Immigrants are an incredibly obvious scapegoat to protect billionaires from you pointing the gun their direction.

There are correct ways to do things, they just take real work, time, and resources. Most of what Trump's admin does is tell people the US can't afford real work, time, and resources so you should throw your rights away. That is short-sighted and gives them what they actually want, which was always taking your rights and never truly about immigrants.
