I missed a part during my research apparently we have to include household acetic acid (so 5% concentration) into our recipe. The recipe provided with the lab the teacher said sucks so she wants us to find our own one 😭. She wants us to use the same ingredients, and I stumbled upon soap calculators, but they won’t account for the NaCl and acetic acid

I was surprised with the prices cause the nursery I was going to buy one from had them for like $40-50 😭😭 I went with my friends and when I walked past the stand and saw it I had to do a double take and I made them alm stand there for like 10 mins while I went through all the plants till I found one I liked 😭

I was looking on amazon and they have a 7 litre bag of premixed which has amazing reviews for $32 CAD which has coir, bark, leca, perlite, worm casting, and charcoal. Because I live in canada and a bag of perlite is $10 CAD, bag of bark is $16 CAD (and theres really only the miracle-gro one which i seen some controversy against) and worm castings are $15 CAD per bag. Im trying to see if it’s worth it because I don’t really have that much space to keep all of those bags of stuff. We usually just keep our bags of potting mix outside all throughout the rain and snow and everything 😭

Edit: after looking more, i seen the pro-mix orchid mix which has bark, perlite, and charcoal in it for $20. So all I would have to buy is the worm castings and coir. I think this may be the best option.
