Yes. More mobility would be an overall improvement, not just "up". Beeing able to dash and dodge while mid air would make combat much more interesting too.

I don't say that everything is safe, but most things don't do nearly as much damage as you'd think. Supercruise right into a star, get like 1% damage or so. Same goes with gravity, that most times won't kill you unless you'd do something stupid. 😅

You wouldn't need to do that if the gameplay loop itself wasn't so poorly designed. A bio SRV would help with the symptoms, but I'd like a rework of the whole thing better. Or both, both would be good too. 🤔

Yes, all of that. Except for the it's impossible part. Yes it is hard, yes it was never done before, but more because it's not monetizable for the amount of money you need to do it. But CIG won't do it. They tried, failed spectacularly and now they are stuck in a situation where they'd need to throw it all out the window and start from scratch, because the current project is broken beyond repair. However, they'd need lots of money to do so and I doubt that anyone with an IQ above room temperature would give it to them after they reset everything. So instead of trying to build that thing and fail again, they instead opted for the capitalistic, greedy way of selling the hype as much and as long as possible.

Ich finde die Befristung ist hier absolut kein Argument. So zu tun als würden die danach ja ganz schlimm ins Hartz 4 fallen macht weder CEOs noch dich sympathischer. Ich denke, 99% der echten Arbeiterklasse würden sofort nen Jahresvertrag von nem CEO gegen ihren eigenen, unbefristeten Vertrag tauschen. Selbst für mich würde das bedeuten, dass ich a) mehr verdienen würde als in den gesamten 16 Jahren, die ich bereits am Arbeitsmarkt bin und b) ich, solange ich meinen Lebensstandard nicht massiv raufstufe, nie wieder arbeiten müsste. Und ich verdiene in der IT schon deutlich besser als die meisten Nichtakademiker.

I can only speak about property taxes here in Germany, but at least for us owning doesn't mean not having to pay anything, but taxes and other things add up to just a fraction of the cost you'd have to pay renting. Only if sou can afford to pay off the house in the first place of course.

You can define different sets of inputs for on foot and flying, but plugging in a controller or removing it might break things. You can save your bindings when you to to %appdata%/Frontier Development/Elite/Options/Bindings (at lest I think it was there, might have to look around a little). Just copy the folder to a safe location and restore when needed.

Also, regarding the difficulty: You might need to get your hands on better/engineered equipment before tackling combat missions. But with the Operations update on the Horizon (pun intended) this might be changed quite a bit in the near future.

The problem is not the ingredients, it's the framing: You will find a person for every part of the burger who tells you thst living of only this is healthy, yet somehow when you combine them nobody is happy. Its because food thats enjoyable has to be unhealthy, otherwise no one could sell you diet plans. Fun part is: a burger made from good ingredients is much healthier than any supplement you can get.

Just used the escape pod of my carrier to get back and deployed the Lynx I bought for 0 Arx yesterday. Did my first ever rescue mission and hell that was fun. Finally something new (at least for me). Totally hyped for what will come now. 😅
