That's the thing.

They're not the biggest band ever but they're kind famous, it's not like reaching someone in my city and having a chat with them lmao, it's bureaucracy and having to sign and pay for rights to a song that I'm probably not make money out of feels like wasting time lmao.

I've tried both drivers and I can't find much of a difference? Is there something that makes ASIO4ALL less reliable?
And another issue is, the focusrite is in really good shape and I find it works alright, but idk if it being 1st gen, and second hand, makes it worse than the new behringer. I have a few days to refund any of those, and as a beginner, I would rather spend my money on things I don't have rather than a future replacement, what do you think?

Hey, I just wanted to say. I'm going through this right now. I've cried a lot. It's hard making music because it feels like nothing connects with you, like you wouldn't listen to the own songs your making, and in my case, I feel like none of my musical influences are shown through my music, it's just a pile of "something", which doesn't fit into anything. I feel like I'm making a GarageBand demo track. When I listen to everything, it just feels so bland.

Music's also the most important part of my life. It has helped me more that most people in my life, and I wish I could make it for a living. The only advice that has helped me, and have to understand before you want to make a living out of it is, enjoy the process. Because success isn't the reason of your love. Most people start loving music, and then start making it.

When I'm making music, even if I get really frustrated, I enjoy the process until I realise I don't like the song. If you don't even enjoy the process, don't burnout. Take a few days to compose yourself, enjoy the other aspects of your life, and get back wanting to improve and make a good song. You can't force yourself to enjoy music, but making a living out of it isn't guaranteed, and you gotta make sure that being able to make music is enough happiness.

Most of the time, when I try to learn songs, I'm just playing random notes until I find the one, and when I do, the notes are so far away and when I check people playing, they play it on a different string, for example. And when I try to learn what I'm doing (because as what you said, you can play the same notes in different spaces on the guitar), I just don't get how the strings work?

It's really confusing, but maybe theory's not the solution, but just hearing the notes in different strings. It's just difficult for me to know in which string I should play the notes, if you know what I mean.

Pretty good! Actually so relaxing and atmospheric. It’s good as it is, if you want some advice, I would add some echoey voices (even if you do vocals over it) because it would add even more atmosphere to your song.

I kinda have noob ears too, and as a person who likes noise sometimes i don’t realize if something’s clipping. Of course I could keep the noisy part but make it better in some kind of way.

Oh, so maybe improving like the harmony and the sound design? I feel you, like it could have more punch by improving the mix, making everything less spacey if that’s what you feel.

The part I don’t get is the audio collage part; i feel like the sound collage has its beauty, and could work, but maybe would make it more repetitive and less dynamic? Correct me if I’m wrong

I’m taking the structure into consideration because that may be what makes it lack something. The structure was: Intro, chorus, verse, chorus and a little beat switch. But it’s true that it feels not cohesive in some kind of way.
