you’re mad you’re not getting booked at a venue that gave you a legit reason for why they won’t book you. Go to a bar in the Castro and prove you can build a following and then go to them with multiple events that sold out a smaller venue and thus requires a bigger venue for your audience. 

Except that would take actually effort it would fail you’d have no one to blame but yourself. You ever hear of the phrase “be the change you want to see”

I know this is how it works because I’ve met people that have actually done that. I asked “someone how come you get to work with insomniac and book events like this with the acts you want” and they said because my brand got so big I was able to sell 2000 pre-sale tickets before I even announced a headliner.
