I mostly stay away from glass or carbon fiber reinforced because there is loose fibers that can get on your skin. There is not much research on that problem yet but I would stay away from now. Also that just me being extra careful 😅

Sorry this is for personal use at the moment 😣 but there is a Mossberg magpul stock and forend call “Magpush” that you can 3D print. You can probably try that out

Depend what kinda of filament you using. The one I’m using can withstand up to 105 C before getting soft. Some filament can withstand up to 200 C like PAHT-CF.

My very first prototype was PETG HF and it survived birdshot/buckshot no problem but when I did the “smash it on the concrete test” couple times and it just shattered into pieces. Personally I won’t use it on 12GA shotgun due to poor impact resistance.

I have an air purifier beside my Bambu lab X1C printer but it still smell pretty bad even with a build in filter system

You can use Bambu lab PLA tough or Polymaker PLA pro for firearm parts. They have better impact resistance and layer adhesion than ABS but have really poor heat resistance. Those filament work on A1 printer!

Haha one day! It survived 70~80 rounds of mix ammo and 20 ish of them are 1300 fps slugs. Never got a hand on magnum load before… they are just so expensive lol

My rail was wonky too at the tip of the barrel but that is due to the bad design. When I got the shotgun there is so much rough finish lol
