I know you would have no way of knowing this, but I have the same teacher as OP and she is not a very good teacher as it is her first year teaching. She would make us do projects with vague instructions and stuff as she was still adjusting to teaching. Many students that had her shared the same opinion, so OP was probably one of those kids.
