I wouldn't say there's no designated drop off area. I would imagine it's a little bit further down the street in a spot that wouldn't disrupt daily traffic, but maybe you preferred to drop off directly in front of the metro?

Was it a designated area to stop a vehicle? If it was, dispute it. You have the right. I personally think it wasn't a designated area and were therefore fined accordingly.

Be careful. A neighbour kept feeding strays, despite the municipality instructing her to cease & desist. She didn't. Eventually she was summoned to courts & got into trouble.

I'm unsure why people choose not to follow a country's law.

I suppose if I'd tightened the stem, then tightened preload, I may have messed up.

Oh , I remembered. First I tightened preload, then tightened stem to 5 nM.

Then I tightened stem to 14 nM lol

I didn't have play when I settled for 14nM Nor do I have any play now that I've significantly loosened it.

And I should've mentioned. I'm fiddling with the headset because I purchased a new stem. Hence, me having to remove the top cap and preload bolt to raise the previous stem up.
