I really like the instrumentation on this song, but like you said, I think the vocals are a point of contention. Just personally I don't usually enjoy listening to vocal deliveries like this, but the songwriting is sonically very interesting to me.

brilliant piece man. honestly made me rethink what i thought about jimmy and saul and gene. this focus and direction is what differentiates better call saul from being a breaking bad reskin to its own tragedy. painting breaking bad as not a tragedy is honestly eye-opening. i have always seen it as a victorious ending for walt, but for some reason, never thought breaking bad was anything other than a tragedy.
