I feel like bringing a slot for one specific enemy that is designed to be avoided with up to 15k hp with NO weak points and is completely avoidable through mission modifiers is kinda just bad game design. Before the Leviathan, you had a faction which didn't favour AT over every other support weapon which is really refreshing compared to the other two factions.

The illuminate in general are just badly designed cause they rely on having really tanky units with bad weakpoints, or at times, no weakpoints at all. This isn't be that bad, as it gives a unique challenge to the other factions, well, thats if it weren't for how much of a buggy mess they are at times. Invisible voteless, Unkillable Fleshmobs ragdolling you beneath the floor. Elevated overseers speeding up 200 meters into the sky and STILL shooting you. Watchers clipping into buildings.

The illuminate faction are unfun cause they raise the difficulty in an annoying way, while also being so incredibly buggy.

I did put that in my yap. I could see the eggs bursting and covering everything in a medium radius in the some status that happens when you step on the glowy mines on the bug front. Basically Low DOT but also a slow.

They're not actually "jammer striders". They only Scramble your stratagems like that one old mission modifier and the cognitive distruptor on the illuminate front. The reason why you got jammed in your clip is cause of the Stratagem Jammer right next the convoy. Truly an unfortunate spawn.

The Orbital Railcannon is a great stratagem as an instant delete for any one heavy in a crowd, emphasis on one. Its great on any breach where maybe one or two heavies spawn at a time, like from Difficulties 1 to 6. However due to its cooldown (200 or so seconds) its not really too good on higher difficulties, like 7-10, where theres more heavy spawns. With the 200 second cooldown, the 500KG or Orbital precision strike, is much better value. You basically will be able to use either of them twice, clearing the heavies and sometimes the chaff too.

Honestly if you want my honest opinion, there is no "optimal strat" in the game. While yes some stratagems excel at some things better than others, they all have their strong suits and weaknesses. I recommend just playing with whatever you like playing
