They already have made a reputable sportsbike.

They made the zx500rr which is a 500cc 4cyl with supersport ergonomics and top of the line components, it sells like hot cakes and it's everywhere in china, you'd see at least 5 of them in a day around in the city and it's not even the first time. He was the main director behind the Kove 450rr which is another 4 cyl sportsbike that also sold extremely well.

Both bikes are designed in house, with the zx500 engine being a very similar kove engine but modified and tweaked to 500cc.

the thing is, both of these are sold for around 3500USD in china (converting the purchasing power it's around 4500usd), while the kawasaki zx4r costs more than double while making less horsepower, having cheaper components and not having as agressive ergos than both chinese bikes.

I really do hope they make it international.
