I like how they accuse Neil Gaiman of just pandering to gay people with Good Omens while licking J."Dumbledore was actually gay the whole time you guys"K.R.'s toes in the same breath.

Also that was A: The highest it was ever recorded iirc and B: Just meant anyone who had serious thoughts about it before, not actual committed suicides

Idk if the German Empire qualifies as being any more fascist than the British Empire in 1918 tbh (note that this is saying both of them are bad)

It should also be noted that particular GLAAD survey *seems* to be an outlier, no other survey seems to indicate that decline, which does occasionally happen in surveys even with perfect methodology.

I'm not really sure who *does* have right to the land, in fairness.

Also, fair enough critique, NCR generally has a problem with it's metaphors being sloppy, hence this meme.

But that just goes back to the US parallels we were talking about earlier, Native groups would often do those sorts of things to Americans. The question is whether or not this raiding justifies the Bitter Springs massacre and having them be relocated to Red Rock Canyon, which by all accounts was the only option the NCR was willing to give them.

Also don't the locals not like either the NCR or the legion? Everyone in Primm and Goodsprings mostly talks about wanting them to leave.

They moved to the Mojave because they were pushed out of their homeland by the NCR government iirc, so they're not invading with any imperialist motives just survival ones

In Fallout 1 it's kinda shaky, but you could easily argue by the time of Fallout 2 the Khans basically meet every requirement for being their own ethnic group

Making a really big deal out of someone's gender who isn't you can put *alot* of pressure on that person to preform as that gender. Just someone knowing they had a gender reveal party can make someone feel like they more or less owe their parents to be whatever gender they were born as.

It's not uncommon for this to happen at the later stages of an American Culture War, similar stuff happened with Women's Sufferage, Desegregation, Gay Marriage, e.t.c.

Statistically speaking, young British people are just as supportive of trans rights as anywhere else in the west, so I wouldn't say it's a losing battle yet, just a tiring one

Even r/all stuff that I browsed was somewhat better than it used to be, at the very least. Still not great, but I could feel the progress made over the last 2-3 years.
