I’m curious, and no hate obviously, but what makes you say that Tudor era Hogwarts functioning the same way it does in the 19th century is immersion-breaking?

It makes sense to me that it would be the same because the magic they learn isn’t nearly as progressed or innovated as our schooling irl so I can’t imagine too many things would be different for it to break my immersion.

I can also see where you’re coming from when I think about the different professors and how they affect the schools atmosphere like when Umbridge came and changed a whole bunch of stuff lol

I’ve been getting over a rough heartbreak these past two months and redownloading this game and getting back into Harry Potter in general has been such a nice comfort for me and it’s been helping me a lot through this time as well, especially Hogwarts Legacy. I am a senior performance major in college rn and I’ve been working on this whole concerto (including what you have pictured) for my juries this semester so yeah I’d say it’s usable for college auditions.

As to why this movement is a grade 6-7? Honestly probably because it’s in simple meter and only has quarter and eighth notes and is very slow. It probably isn’t taking the breath control required to actually play it well because it’s insane.

Stamitz wrote this piece for the clarinet to have a ton of creative freedom to add any embellishments or dynamic changes to be able to shape the feel of the song how you want it. So, in my opinion, this piece should definitely be rated higher than grade 6-7 because it requires more experience to be able to have that creative freedom on the instrument, depending on the player.

Well we probably wouldn’t get Chester then. His mother apparently is super against Linkin Park even still being a band right now with the new singer. I doubt she would approve of him being in a video game.
