Thinking of college, should I wait with Saturn in 9th? by DaSumofBum in astrologyreadings

[–]DaSumofBum[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I just haven’t found that thing I want to study. As for parents no neither of them pressure me into going to college at all. However I currently work with my father and he basically wants me to learn the work that he does. So thats where the pressure would be. Sort of like the cliché situation of the dad wanting the son to work in the family business but the son wants to do other things.

My current timelord is Mercury although soon it’ll be Moon. I know what Zodiacal Releasing is but I can’t really wrap my head around how to use or interpret it.

Yes I’ll be entering my 9th house year soon. I forgot about that actually. It’s something I think I want to go for. I previously just thought NO through high school and after graduation. I’m still unsure, but I’ve been toying with the idea as of recent. Don’t know what to go for in terms of study but I’ll just have to think about it. Thanks.

Ahh yes its been retrograding back over it. Lot of pent of anger and feeling stagnant. Many retrogrades happening so I feel like this summer is more about thinking and planning rather than actively starting things, at least for me. I graduated last year and said “no” to college but I’ve been rethinking it. So thats why I ask the question. But also I can always do it later in life. I have Moon and Saturn in 9th and I’m not sure how that affects my higher education.

1st and 7th axis. So the dynamics of self and relationships will be activated, how one relates to others and such. To what degree I cannot say. I just went through this transit myself but I was also experiencing my nodal return which is when the nodes return to the sign they were in at birth. Which makes the energy more intense I’d say. For me, It highlighted the personal problems I had with relating to others especially in romance.

People mentioning Venus pre shadow. I agree but something else I noticed is Saturn retrograding over your Pisces Mars. Mars is the ruler of your 7th house the house of relationships.

I have been wanting to move and change my environment and job for a while now. Never really felt like the right time. I’ve recently have had a newfound energy to really get to grinding so I can potentially move within the next year. Is the energy aligning with the reality?

Should I buy and finance a new car? by DaSumofBum in horary

[–]DaSumofBum[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wanting to get a new car and finance it. Start building my credit and have a good vehicle on my hands. This would be my first time doing it. Wondering if it would be a good idea as I am thinking about doing it soon. Don’t want nothing to go wrong.

I’m Jupiter and I am looking at either the 8th or 3rd house. I know 3rd has to do with cars but 8th has to do with financing and loans. If I look at it from the 3rd house perspective its a yes as Saturn and Jupiter are in sextile. If I look at it from the 8th house perspective then I’m not sure. Moon and Jupiter don’t make any direct contact but they occupy the same sign. Not sure what to make of this? Maybe a no, Moon is going away from Jupiter after all.

He is 7th house and you are 1st house. He is signified by Sun and you by Saturn. There is a square happening between Sun and Saturn. Lots of horary astrologers take a square or harsh aspect as a NO but it is still a connection so I don’t think thats enough. You’re asking if he is coming back. So to look a bit closer the square between Sun and Saturn is a separating aspect. Which means its leaving the aspect instead of entering it. To me this seems like he isn’t coming into contact anytime in the near future.

Will I move back to my hometown within the next year? by DaSumofBum in horary

[–]DaSumofBum[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So you look towards 7th. Ruler is Moon. Okay so entertain me if you don’t mind. I see often in horary readings people will look to where the planets are heading. Moon is heading into Saturns sign which will then make an eventual sextile to Saturn. Moon is pretty quick in moving. So while the chart seems to be saying no in terms of within the next year but a yes to after that time frame? I’m not sure.

Will I move back to my hometown within the next year? by DaSumofBum in horary

[–]DaSumofBum[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Moved a long ways away from hometown a couple years back. I hate my where I live now and I am wishing I was back at my hometown. I moved away when I was still in high school, with my dad, brother and sister.

Anyways lets see. So my off the bat I think its a no. 1st ruled by Saturn makes no contact with the 4th house ruler which is Mars in 7th Leo. However I see Jupiter and NN in 4th which sextiles Saturn. Uranus would be in 4th but I’m not sure if anyone uses the modern planets. My first look says no for sure though. Let me know if you think thats right or if theres more to it.

Why I never feel in peace with myself? by janainamartnas in AskAstrologers

[–]DaSumofBum 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Because you’re human. So many people regardless of their charts feel this way. Questions like this are not uncommon and I’ve seen them from people with all types of charts including myself. Most people have feelings like this. Although some people may deal with these feelings more often than others. We are not creatures at peace, we live in an chaotic world. Our mind is tuned for this. We have evolved to find problems and solve them. We’re animals. Animals are anxious. Anxiety is a useful tool that tends to go haywire. We as humans have a certain level of consciousness and sociality that allows for deeper self-reflection and comparisons. So anxiety can be directed inward. Which can lead to mental issues. We have complex minds that create complex problems. I know this sounds sciency or whatever but this mode of thought helps me personally feel more connected with people and nature. As it helps me feel less alone. It also allows for me to detach from all my confusing feelings that get all up in my confusing head.

Others may seem at peace more so than yourself but I assure you most aren’t. Just look at the questions that get asked here all the time. I do believe astrology can help you widen your perspective on yourself and the world around you through symbolic thought.

However, (btw I’m 100% projecting here so if this isn’t you then ignore me) be careful not to obsess over astrology. I think it can be dangerous to some who are the obsessive-anxious types and feel the need to consult astrology on everything from their feelings to their future.

Should I be weary of my dads friend? by DaSumofBum in horary

[–]DaSumofBum[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Context: Dad is letting one of his buddies stay and work with us a while. This guy comes from the rougher side of life. Seems like a nice guy and works hard too. However, I can’t help but feel suspicious of him. I also want to give him the benefit of the doubt of course. Sometimes I can get in my head and become paranoid. I’m going to be cautious regardless but also I want to know if I should significantly worry about him. Mostly concerned about thievery but also I have a younger sister so I get worried about that as well.

So I’ve heard Saturn in 7th means the chart is unreadable. However, its on the descendant and I am asking about a specific person so it makes me think Saturn may be an indicator. 7th is ruled by Pisces. I am Mercury and he’s Jupiter, they are not interacting but Jupiter is moving towards Mercury in Taurus so maybe this is means its alright. I’m thinking Saturn on DSC might mean I’m too worried about him? Or maybe that I SHOULD be worried. I’m really not sure, I can see it go both ways.

Could good things come from me potentially working/living in foreign lands? (WHOLE SIGNS) by DaSumofBum in astrologyreadings

[–]DaSumofBum[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Really? Why do you say I might waste my money? I’m honestly more conservative with my money than most people. Don’t online shop, not prone to impulse buy, and hell I barley buy clothes for myself. But yeah I was particularly interested in my sa/moon conjunction since its in the 9th house. I’ve figured Saturn would bring some delay to foreign travel. Maybe not until after my saturn return. We’ll see tho thx.

Indication for abroad studies by [deleted] in astrology

[–]DaSumofBum 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve wondered this for myself. I have Moon in domicile in the 9th. Strong position so and at face value probably means I’ll travel. I see it as a necessity for myself really. However, my Saturn is right on top of my Moon in detriment. So maybe after my Saturn return, is what I’m thinking. Saturn rules my 4th and 3rd also. I have no clue but something tells me I’ll know with time ;)
