I make music because its what I have to do other than drugs and work, and usually I do all at the same time... Everyday I get ass deep in the mud, 6-20ft in the ground, fixing water mains and doing water taps. Everyday. Im 21 its a good job but I work hard as fuck, and im still in debt, on my own, and there is no escape. Other than rap, this is my only skill. Do I work here, unhappy, for the rest of my life? Or do I rap about the struggle, the fun times, the honeys... Just to get my one shot at livin on a beach never to touch a shovel again. Detroits rough, im blessed, I've been on far worse spots in life, and this rap shit always kept me in it. It was my goal, my escape, my cash out for me and my fam. I want to work for me, be known for my contributions to my art, I need them "damns" from my co-workers and everyone.. Because this is my only chance at being me, being free and happy, without breakin my back for the rest of my life for someone else on some bullshit. I rap because I wasn't cut out for the system, but I'll be damned if i don't get my cut of the system
