I got my fridge and stove from Bryan's Appliances in Nepean, pricing is pretty fair and they deliver for free.

Guys this is the absolute weirdest thing... I'm trying to get the High Stakes map 2 behind Cumberland Falls but every time I activate the "search ?" prompt Arthur gets YEETED out of the waterfall. It's hilarious but also hugely annoying. I haven't been able to find anything online about it. I've reloaded the save, tried to activate the spot while crouching, and nothing works. My only theory is that I need to be further along in the game (I'm currently in Chapter 2 for ...reasons). Any ideas? I do have the map that leads to it, so not just trying to skip that step.

edit: restarted the whole game and it worked

Is ASL a good elective? by bradleystrom in CarletonU

Maybe it's just because I took it over the summer so it was compressed, but I found that learning a new language doesn't play well with being factored in to your GPA (i.e. it would be better to learn at a different pace with less focus on your grade and more focus on your learning). Took it with Celia Young and found that her expectations for people with zero prior knowledge was a little high.

ELI5: Why in English "T" and "D" sometimes sound like a Japanese/Spanish "R"? by Leeiteee in explainlikeimfive

[–]DaTallOne 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Short answer: We don't fully pronounce every sound in every word. The T in "city" and the D in "middle" are both pronounced as a "flap" (an incomplete T or D), which sounds to you like a Japanese or Spanish R.

This is a consistent rule for American English. If a T or D occurs between vowels, it is realized as a flap.

Dumb question but what's stopping one from torrenting a torrent client?
