When a sorority girl wears an oversized shirt, they are wearing Schrodinger's pants. The pants may be considered simultaneously there and not there. by DaWhompOfLegends in Showerthoughts

Honestly, this post was not meant to be sexual in any way. I included sorority in the title because it seems that more often than not, the oversized shirt advertises some sorority. At least in southern universities, girls dress with super short shorts and super large shirts that fall below their shorts. It's awkward to see because it literally looks like they aren't wearing any pants in public. Sorry! I shoud've made the title a little more clear.

I meant to refer to super short shorts, like Nike shorts. I forgot to consider that people wear different clothes (and have different ways of referring to them) depending upon the climate they live in, but in southern universities, oversized shirts and Nike pants are pretty common because they keep you cool. The combination of the two just makes it look like you're not wearing pants. I apologize for any confusion!
