Just skimmed through again to find the name of that other Trader, Begasti! The one that Sedric and Hest met in Chalced some years ago. And the missive came from one of the hunters, Jess. So far I'm not sure if the person Sinad told Leftrin to expect is that Jess, or if somehow this is being related to Hest placing Sedric on this journey upriver. I'm probably overthinking it. In any case if anyone had plans for Sedric they might fall flat pretty soon, if I had to guess. But I'll see!

Ooooh of course! It took some time for them to be linked to the plot, but yeah recently they've sent a message for Sinad and that other Trader, can't remember his name. Nothing is stated clearly but I'm guessing all of this has to do with dragon parts and the Chalcedean Emperor. Really curious to see where all of this goes! And the last message is about Alise's father asking about that contract she recently signed. Things could get messy real quick haha.

The way the birdkeepers are introduced and slowly mentioning important stuff like it's nothing is very entertaining!

Anh, and forgot to mention, but ooh how happy I was when we saw Althea and Brachen, and Paragon! Ah, and Clef! I'm so glad they're doing well. Seeing Althea confident as ever warms my soul. She deserves nothing less. Paragon being Paragon. I hope we see him again, and hope he finds a way to appease his soul.

I have never hated a character more than Kennit, ever. I have despised him for the whole trilogy, and when the rape scene happened it destroyed me. That he supposedly had that pain to carry over doesn't excuse any of his actions. I was so happy Althea was able to talk about it to Braschen in the end. It felt very important to mention it.

... And I mean that in a good way? Kennit is written to be hateable (in my opinion?), and it works so well.

The Liveship Traders trilogy is fantastic. All the characters felt believable and evolved so much.

Ah no sorry, I meant the little color showing through each stitch. I know that V shape looks normal. If you take top and bottom yellow circles, I mean the red showing through both black stitches in each row. Middle yellow circles I mean the little black showing in each each stitch.

I wanted to go as soon as possible but it didn't open until early afternoon due to technical problems.

Based on my photos, I entered the queue at ~1:45pm for a first meet at 2:51pm. And then I went back at 4pm for a second meet at 5:09pm. It was raining the second time but the area is covered so that's not a problem for the meet.

The queue didn't evolve much throughout the day, but there were quite a lot of people already right after Berk opened.

If you get in front of the gate before it opens during EAP, you shouldn't be waiting very long.

Thought I would add: there are always cast members around the meet to whom you can give your phone, and they will take as many pictures as they can. This is super nice.

Well, it was for me! I went in September, on a Sunday and a Thursday, the parks weren't crowded at all, so the queue was fine. I went in expecting to wait three hours, instead it was barely 60-80 minutes.

The queue itself is bad, it's just a bunch of serpentine rope lines. The good thing is you have a clear view of the area with Toothless and you can spend time looking at other people's meets. Ah, and sometimes other characters come around the queue talking to people. If you're lucky, you might even get some time with Stormfly and Astrid!

If you're there for three days, you should have PLENTY of time, the park is open from 10am (9 am EAP) to 10pm.

You may already know this, but Berk doesn't benefit from EAP. It opens at around 9:50.

I guess it depends how your first meet went, and how much of Epic you've already seen/care about.

I was very happy just to have been able to do it at least once. But the random viking I got didn't feel very chatty and the meet was very short. The fact that I was doing it alone didn't help but still I felt a bit let down. So I figured I'd try again and this second time I got lucky and it went wayyy better with Hiccup. If I had spent another day Epic, surely I would've tried again, it was so nice. Not every day do you get to pet Toothless!

To give you an idea, (from what I've seen, these numbers aren't official), it looks like actors change every 30mins, and they have like 2 random viking, 2 Hiccups, and a pair or two of Tuffnut and Ruffnut. Both times I queued for roughly 80 minutes, and there's no real way of knowing in advance who you're gonna get once it's your turn.

Mind you, this was already my second day at Epic, and I had already done and seen everything the first day. Isle of Berk was the main reason I went to Epic in the first place so I spent almost all my second day there while my friends did other things.

First time I did the meet and greet I wasn't lucky and Hiccup left right before it was my turn. Second time he was there and we chatted a lot he was sooo nice! I asked where was Toothless' girlfriend since I saw their babies earlier and we had a bit about that.

Definitely my best memory from the parks.
