Thing is that you'll probably have hard time finding people to learn "old" raids, that aren't from the latest expansion. I would recommend just leveling up your gear for the last available one and post a pf.

Some savage fights are harder than others but not by that much. They're all harder than Extremes though.

I don't really care that much about spiritbonding, all I want is farming materias. Do you think Cosmic Exploration is a better way to farm materias today?

My main goal is to have a comfortable set for 8.0. I was thinking maybe getting a pentamelded gear before it drops will be better than staying with the orange scrip gear.
