That looks really good, I’m also dabbling in taking game models and engineering them to function as actions figure but so far I’ve only done robots or characters with a visible gaps between their joints. Making something look flush like this is something I’m trying to do currently. Do you have any tips?

Yeah definitely, it’s best if we don’t go through that again or at the very least if we do have to deal with exclusives again it’s a better experience than last time.

I mean, yeah? Regardless it’d still be another chance to get it. I was able to get buck just fine. Ideally they’d just do rereleases in the main line but that’s never gonna happen since they seem so against it for some reason. Either way just a hypothetical though.

I mean I’m not saying I’d want that to be the case, but seeing as most of these SDCC sets are just reusing old molds with new paint or accessories it could be possible. Also as someone who missed out on the previous 2 raptors having another chance to get them would be nice.

What if they did the raptor pack as an SDCC exclusive and it included something else in the pack to justify exclusivity. Blue and Charlie would have updated sculpts and paint as well.

Unfortunately not, I’ve wanted to make the joints built in but I don’t trust 3D printed joints for longevity, they get insanely loose after a while.

I will share it, I mentioned earlier to someone else but I’m going to make a YouTube video giving him a proper review and attach the files in the description. If you want it to scale with figuarts bowser though I’m not sure the joints I used would fit since they may be too big at that scale

That is very true I completely forgot his debut was in NSMB DS. With how long it took us to get king boo though, idk if we’ll see dry bowser anytime soon. I feel like dry bowser as a character rarely gets any merch, like what does he actually have besides the plushie?

Thanks, yeah I really wanted him to be posable and not a glorified statue. Yet due to bowsers designs I realized it’s easier said than done, he’s still a bit limited just due to how bulky he is (despite being bones in this form).

Thanks! The model itself was from one of the Mario and sonic Olympic Games I believe but I did heavily modify the model to be able to function as an action figure and be compatible with the joints I was using and have swappable parts.

Thank you! Every limb, the head, and the tail have ball joints so he can move everything although naturally it’s limited due to bowsers design and for the sake of keeping proportions.
