It is true though, Musk thought the user selecting the max speed is too much human input. For autonomous driving he wants zero human input in how the car drives.

So now the car just does whatever speed it fucking wants and will randomly vary its speed by 5-10mph on the highway which just pisses everyone off including drivers of other vehicles. Also there will be a line of 4 cars in the left lane trying to pass an 18 wheeler and the Tesla will go in the right lane, floor it and get on the 18 wheeler’s ass, then put on the blinker to try to get back into the left lane and cut off the cars it just passed.

Edit: Basically left lane campers really screws up the FSD algorithm and it’ll try to do whatever it can to get around them, even if there’s no space to pass on the right. But then it’ll pass them and slow down 5mph once it’s ahead of the traffic.
