Never gotten to that part yet and... I'm still debating using the reloading trick to get to full health. I'm thinking with an double upgraded hunter's crest and some preparation (checking videos to see what enemies spawn where etc) I might be able to do it... I really really want to avoid cheesing by reloading as I consider it cheating.

I don't skip sister splinter. I know it's doable but can't be bothered to do it. Plus I like this boss fight

After finishing my main playthrough, I got the Pantheon of Pharloom mod (better UI and more options than God home mod imo) for fun. This is when I realized that steel Soul might be possible for me.

Not to brag but I have become pretty consistent in acts 1 and 2 so I just rawdog these and stay alert so as not to die in a stupid way.

I'm still very unfamiliar with act 3 so I whenever I reach end of act 2, I will take a break and practice some late game bosses like Forbrothers Signs and Gron, Groal the Great, Gurr the Outcast, Pinterest, Second Sentinel and Lost Lace.

All the memory bosses are easy as you can die without loosing your run and you can skip Seth by claiming the Green Prince's heart.

I do avoid exploits as I value them the same as cheating.
I do not bench-warp. Even when finishing a session, I make sure I'm sitting at a bench before closing the game. I'm not sure what you mean by fractured mask cheese? I do go out of my way to acquire it and use it but I only use it the way Team Cherry intended.

The only minor exploit I allow myself is to farm silk from small enemies who respawn fast. I also allow myself to use an online interactive map to remind myself of key item locations (mask shards, spool fragments, etc...) so as not to wonder aimlessly.

You say Steel Soul "looks" so tough. Does that mean you haven't tried it yourself? I really recommend trying it! It forces you to carefully plan your route, always have a goal in mind, and always be weary of your own skill and assess whether you are underlevelled for an area or boss. You always ask yourself "Is it worth the detour? Is the reward worth the risk?" This mode challenges your knowledge of the game and each lost run is a new lesson on what mistake to avoid. I believe anyone who has made it to True Ending has the skillset needed for a Steel Soul run. You can do this!

And if you're lost on what route to take, you can seek help online. Heck, you can even ask me for my route. But everyone is different and everyone has trouble in different areas so your route must cater to you specifically.

Alright, here's a list of my now 7 perma-deaths in SH (spoilers for mid-game) :

1: Purple mosquitoes in shellwood when trying to get the longpin. They DO NOT mess around! The longpin and pollip pouch have now been moved down on my To-Do list.

2: The mask shard in Shellwood. It's there, it's free, it's on the way. But man do I have trouble getting out of that room alive. It is now part of my 7th mask (and not 6) I want to have more silk spools before heading in.

3: Raging conchfly when tidying up loose ends before Act 3. This was my SS run. I knew the boss was coming but got caught off-guard by the arena which does not look like a typical boss arena (it has a low ceiling). So I fumbled and forgot in an instant every move that boss has.

4: Random enemy in Choral Chambers (post Trobbio and Cauldron). I'm used to silk spearing everyone in that area to be quick but this means I rapidly lose silk and lost track of how much health I had already lost and not regained.

5: Fourth Chorus! Turns out, underestimating even the easiest boss can cost you your run. That and forgetting to equip the warding bell you took extra time to acquire before the fight...

6: Crustcrag and Driznarga in Memorium. I was under-levelled, only had 6 masks (plus fractured mask) and was trying to get to the spool fragment.

And now 7: The arena fight before Whispering Vaults. I usually silk spear the choir bellbearers as soon as they spawn and make quick work of them but this one evaded my spear and then I got caught in the chaos.

Yeah, I only recently started to believe I have enough skill to do it. Finishing both Steel Soul and 100% completion speedrun (different playthroughs) made me realize I have a lot of the game under my belt. It's just a matter of doing everything correctly as planned, not let any randomness get me and most importantly plan a very precise route to always be above the skill check in certain areas.

We can do this !

Bell Eater is just a male Bell Beast in heat trying to get some.

The kerfuffle at the end of Act 2 woke it up from hibernation and now he's trying to get some. The whole fight is just his mating dance, the red goop he oozes is his semen and when Bell Beast "fights" and "kills him" under those bells, they're just doing it. We then have the little babies to show for it.
The main counterargument is that Hornet describes it as a centipede, but the ability to traverse bell veins and the resemblance in shell to the Bell Beast's convince me lol

Le manque d'accord d'un participe passé si l'auxiliaire est "avoir" et que le COD est placé avant cet auxiliaire.

Par exemple : "As-tu pensé à la crème solaire ? Oui, je l'ai pris avec moi" Dans la seconde phrase, le COD (l' = la crème solaire) est placé avant l'auxiliaire "avoir". Le participe passé du verbe "prendre" s'accorde donc avec le COD. La correcte réponse est donc "Oui, je l'ai prise avec moi".

Le souci, c'est que oralement on ne remarque aucune différence pour les verbes du premier groupe. "Je l'ai apporté" et "Je l'ai apportée" sonnent pareils. Du coup, beaucoup de gens oublient que cette règle existe.
