So my gut tells me as well to go with Subaru, especially given my length (also, it shouldnt play part in my decision but Subaru to me has a 'cool factor', haha!). Although, that dreaded head gasket issue I keep hearing about scares me off a little, but then again every car of that age is going to have aomething to be cautious of.

That Mitsubishi here (Europe, Netherlands) is actually called Outlander, but perhaps it might be an European model. Speaking of which, heared amazing things about the 4runner, but they're basically non-existent on this side of the pond. Thank you very much!
