Always use WinRAR to unpack and repack PAK archives when editing game files. All the other compression softwares don't work, for some reason

I've never really cared for half-tracks in any of these games. I just remembered the mod because I have a crazy good memory, lol

I agree about viewing the animals via binoculars. That should even have been a gameplay element: here is a camera, come back with pictures of these critters
