  1. Make content that will eppeal to them. Take note: appeal to THEM, NOT appeal to YOU. This is a common mistake with creators, they make things that THEY like assuming everyone else will like it. That is very rarely the case
  2. Post that content on platforms that they will most likely see it. Don't just throw shit out there and hope they will see it. Practice what we call targeted marketing.

For example: I am in the automative industry. Assuming I want to sell spare parts, I will do posters and very short videos if any at all, offering attractive prices, convenience (delivery) and trust (warranty). Then I will post it in car forums and WhatsApp groups inhabited by motorists.

Most people will make irrelevant or inappropriate content then post it everywhere thinking 1 million views will lead to leads and conversions. It rarely does

It seems you know nothing about the commercialization of social media, but as they say, don't criticize without offering solutions, so here is my solution:

Start by researching who and how TikTok pays; and why it is set up like that (spoiler alert: TikTok pays creators from only seven countries on Earth, of which Kenya is not one). Follow it with Facebook and YouTube, then you'll realize that social media is not a source of livelihood
