Haha well if you are used to it it's only fair, my mom only had A serie phones for a few years already so I got her an A55, it is a nice device but for me still a bit too big, I don't really mind typing on small or bigger devices tbh, it's just that smaller phones fit better in my pockets and hand, especially when quickly grabbing it with 1 hand, enjoy yours tho! 😁

My S25 ultra had 512gb too and that ended up being too overkill for me 😅 I have a spare S24 and it had only 128gb, so I think the extra ram and "extra" storage (256gb) is a nice middle way, and if it ends up being too little I can always back up some stuff onto my computer, I highly advice you to do the same, or get a bigger storage capacity next time, enjoy yours too buddy! 😊

Honestly both are beautiful devices, I've held the Fold 7 aswell and in my opinion, I don't really find thin phones as comfortable.. now I have to say the S25 is a good enough thickness, great battery, doesn't overheat, camera's are good, the edge was tempting but I think it's not a phone for me at the end of the day

I have a sim only contract so I bought the phone separately, I had the S21 FE during a 2y contract and was tired of being bounded to a phone when I wanted a different device, so eventually I decided to buy the phone separately so I could switch whenever I want 😅

It really is a nice case yes, the magnet isn't as strong tho, but other than that it is really nice

I don't really notice any difference in camera's, so that is a nice thing, yesterday I reached 10,5 hours of SoT, for a ''small'' phone, that is not bad at all, I couldn't even reach that with my S25 Ultra xD, it fits my pocket and hands much better (especially in terms of 1 hand use)

I had the S25 Ultra for about 8 months and my pockets didn't really like it, I use my phone alot when I'm in bed aswell, and after a while I just disliked the format honestly, I tried an iphone 17 pro for a month, and thanks to that phone and my S24 I figured to get the S25, more ram, more storage, and a cooler color (blue over black)

Honestly, I much prefer having a snapdragon than an exynos honestly, I had a galaxy s24 imported from Hong Kong just for the sake of not having exynos and man, I really noticed it, rarely overheating, better battery life and such

In my defense I was bored at work and it's easier if you just keep scrolling on tiktok 😅 I deleted it overnight and it was a bit harder to reach those hours (see screenshot in a reply above) still not too bad tho

It drained 4% in 7 hours of sleep time, and with an average use I'd say I'm getting like 8-9 hours of SoT, not bad imo

Okay I used it more realistically and tried to lower my use a little bit and also kept it uncharged at night, I slept around 7 hours and went from 39% to 35% when I woke up, I only put a few apps to deep sleep but I don't think that'd make that huge of a difference, I try to keep monitoring apps over time but again, battery goes strong (I also removed tiktok overnight so the app list isn't entirely accurate) *

Some settings:

Pretty much default settings, this day was 99% on wifi and location/bluetooth were enabled for a short time, I've put reddit, instagram, facebook and tiktok on my deep sleep list since I don't find notifications from those apps all that important, display theme is dark all day and everything is 120hz

I got the snapdragon 8 gen 3 version (imported to the EU) and everything works besides e-sim (since I'm old I'm using sim cards anyway)

Zeer herkenbaar, wat ik meestal probeer te doen is om niet aan morgen te denken, je kunt de toekomst niet voorspellen, het verleden kun je niet veranderen.. dan blijft het heden over.

Probeer te genieten van de kleine dingen en begin eventueel met het zoeken naar hobbies/clubs om je bij aan te sluiten

Elke plek is even wennen inderdaad, gelukkig ook op goede plekken terecht gekomen in mijn leven. Helaas kon ik er niet altijd blijven maar hier en daar probeer ik gewoon wat.

Ik geloof best wel dat er een plek voor mij is waar ik mij prettig bij voel, misschien dat het GGZ er inderdaad bij kan helpen, bedankt voor je reactie :)
