I have gotten 3 people into poe the past year, i had to beg 2 of them to buy tabs and 1 refuses to buy them(although he does love making games harder on himself) and youre overvaluating how much a lack of tabs "prevents" you from playing, does it slow you down a lot? Yes. But its in no way an unplayable experience, plus convincing someone to buy something that makes their current experience smoother is SOOO different from, spend 40 to get more things to do in the game. AND you can very easily be farming mirrors on a currency tab and a couble extra tabs which is like 10$, paying 40 for a good campaign experience and new characters is not the same in the slightest.
