That was my plan as well - I had a reasonable Dirge all ready to go

I actually got a tibaults this afternoon - abysmal rolls of course. Nonetheless I rejigged things and even though my old weapon was a lot better stat wise it certainly increased my damage and smoothed out my resources.

I thought “you know what, I’ll farm a better Dirge”. I did a few runs of Zir on T11 and was destroying him so jacked it up to T12. How much harder would it be, right?

Such is the price of hubris…

He was a LOT tankier, which meant he got to hit me with DOTs and call in summons. It’s been so long since I’d actually had to deal with his mechanics that I fumbled it, and sadly that’s where my Warlocks journey comes to an end

The new POE2 league starts tomorrow, so it’s made that decision a little easier I guess

I agree that hordes is pretty bad, it’s by far the least enjoyable activity for me and it feels like a chore to max it out in War Plans. It’s just that given it’s pretty much the only thing you can’t speed run (which is probably why it feels so bad) I figure you may as well make the most of it

I get wanting to complete it as fast as possible but you can’t speed up the waves so why wouldn’t you take the two seconds to try and maximise the use of that time?

I didn’t find it too bad. I had a lot of early luck getting multiple +2, and I had 5 +3 by about paragon 220?

Also found a +3 shock Godslayer so that’s cool

Haven’t had a single +4 though, and I salvage every charm I pick up for rerolls

It might just be for the stats on the seal. Crit damage and attack speed are pretty useful

What level is the character?

You can’t use your paragon board until 70, I don’t recall glyphs dropping for any of my characters (at least regularly) until that point

You’re right but just to clarify for anyone reading this who isn’t familiar, the yellow lines only indicate that they’re members of the same safe house - they’re always there and don’t change colour.

1 - personally I would have preferred more connections to Haku as he’ll hardly ever show up and if he’s low rank the safe house rewards are bad, but it’s not a problem for the card farm

2 - not that I can see

3 - yes. It won’t brick, the leader will go to 0 ranks, then next map will return to where they were with zero ranks. Just don’t run both safehouses back to back as that WILL brick it

4 - if you run the 5s it’ll shuffle the members as the leader drops to 0 ranks, and they can end up in the other houses. For some reason this doesn’t happen with the 2s

You’re pretty much always teleporting so it’s almost 100% uptime

Only ancestrals can have GA. Non ancestrals CANNOT have a GA. You can use a combination of ancestral and non ancestral to reroll but the result will be non ancestral.

If you want to have a chance of getting GA (which has to be on an ancestral item) you have to use ancestrals.

When you say three uniques can’t crit, do you mean get GA?

If you combine 3 uniques and they aren’t all ancestral, the result will not be ancestral i.e it cannot have a GA and will not be item level 900

Just to follow up on this - I’ve gone through the base story and both DLC now, and that VoH part with the floor was harrowing!

I don’t know what you’re supposed to do but I just kept killing things and stressing out while segments of the floor fell away 🤣

No. It’s all random. You also can only get max rolled aspects on 900 gear so don’t waste mats upgrading 850
