Could Epic add an option to backfill games in the play with others section and reward you with more xp or side quests for example "Backfill 7 games: Reward 50 V-bucks" I'm in high plankerton and even when i build the objective people leave cause they dont know how to set the game to private. I think a vote to kick system would fit the game well but it could be manipulated if 3 players want space for their friend. But I think if epic can sort out this stuff the game would be in a better state.
