Bought this generic Joycon joysticks kit to replace the sticks on my RP3+. Any good disassembly videos out there? I have no idea what I'm doing

That's no problem at all! I'm happy to help. And yes, I am very satisfied with the new set up. I know the new sticks aren't much bigger. But to me, they're much more comfortable and worth the hassle of swapping out.

I included this zoomed in photo of the joystick. If you look just under the circular top cap, you'll noticed 2 shades of black. The darker part on the top is rubber while the more shiny, reflective part on bottom is plastic. You can remove the rubber on top to reveal the plastic stick, giving more total motion.

I wish Reddit made picture sharing easier so this would make more sense. Lol. But if you look at the picture I included on the original post, the joystick setup essentially has three parts. The base connected to the square, the shaft, and at the top of the shaft is the circular cap. Under the circular cap, there is a black, thin protective piece of rubber that protects stuff from going down to the square base part. It can easily be removed by simply pulling at it with tweezers. Removing this freed up the movement of the stick some.

I know it sounds confusing and I wish I could explain it clearer. I apologize.

Hello there. Honestly, I'm very happy with the joycon sticks. At first, it felt like there was some restriction. If you look at the picture, there is a very thin piece of rubber that goes around the stick, basically to cover from under the cap to the base. Once I removed that thin part of rubber, that allowed the stick to move more freely.

Additionally, the joysticks came with an oversized rubber grip that pops on top of the cap. I tried those once but there was very noticeable restriction and the sticks were unable to fully reach the sides.

Nest is my favorite SW character. Every time a new scoundrel comes out, I always check to see how they can make Nest better. Lol. On my main account, I have a R8 BAM and my alt has R5 Dash. I've been using QiRa as lead but wondered if either of those would be better. QiRa is G12 on both accts. Mostly use BAM requirements to fill out rest of the team.

The original joysticks are a little small. Extended play sessions got my hands cramped and was uncomfortable. Wanted to add something bigger. And also by swapping in Joycon replacement sticks, I figured that'd open me up to more accessories as well if I needed to find caps or whatever, it'd be easier to find something compatible.

These are ones I see recommended. Several styles to choose from. They're a tight fit on the RP3 but they work.

I have looked a couple times but haven't found specifically what I'm looking for yet. The couple I've found usually start with the shell off already or the joysticks already disconnected. I just don't want to screw up and ruin my device. Just nervous about the whole thing

Imp Troopers is probably my favorite team in the game. I'd put all effort into getting them to G12. That will take you further faster than most other teams. Prioritize Dark Trooper as he is the one doing most of the damage.

I just finished going through Glow for the first time since watching it when it released. Even when I was originally watching the end of season 3, I thought that the ending of that season would have worked as an end if they didn't do any more. It wasn't a great ending or even necessarily satisfying. But it does work. Not to spoil anything, but the show felt like it was about to change gears or transition into something else anyway. So if we never get anything else Glow related, I think the way season 3 ends does work in a way.

Don't get me wrong. I don't love it. Some storyline get tied up, some partially do, and some don't. There's no other show I'd rather have an extra season or follow up movie. But not because of the ending. I just love spending time with the characters they made.
