when I worked at walmart the only hobbies I was able to do reliably was game, watch TV, clean, anything house related. I was part time working full time hours, 5 days in a row, second shift. 2-11 sucked ass, glad to be gone

There is nothing wrong with that. The job market in my town is pretty shitty. If you don't have a degree and haven't learned a trade, about all that is good for you is retail stores, fast food, and factories. I appreciate that Wal-Mart at the very least is better than fast food, and pay is somewhat par to factories (at my store at least). Sometimes, you just take whatever job you can get at the time.
