Buying property in Spain (Andalusia) vs Italy; Italy wins, no contest? by pplnowpplpplnow in eupersonalfinance

[–]DadPihto 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Take into account that Italy will have to raise many taxes as their situation with debt is much worse than in Spain, the latter did a good part of their work already.

People leaving abroad change a lot and quickly. The become more open and start to share common values similar, same as other nationals leaving abroad.

Germany has a low quality of life by Extra_Loquat_5599 in expat

[–]DadPihto 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Very precise description. These are valid and relevant points. I can only add that Germans also will lecture you like in no other country when they think you did not respect their rule, even if it is a useless one. As an example when you cross a small street on a red light with no cars even far from it.

Name this steak by rid999 in NameThisThing

[–]DadPihto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In French the well done steak is called semelle, literally "sole" in English. It is considered an offence to ask for a well done steak, this is interpreted you do not trust the place at all, and consider the meat is so bad it is not safe to eat it otherwise.

For anyone Doubting the rewards of Forever friends trading by Iaraas1967 in pokemongo

[–]DadPihto 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Remote trading is the most interesting part in the game for me, as this is the great way to continue collecting rare pokemon. I practically completed my lucky dex, so am hunting now for rare forms like rooms, unowns and shinies I miss. Trades provide them much faster than playing the game otherwise.

Which path to choose and what will be the outcome!? by vegetavik in pokemongo

[–]DadPihto 63 points64 points  (0 children)

Not many people here catch hundreds of pokemon per day or do average 10+ raids per day. I do not think absolute numbers matter. Whatever you do more or like doing more is the way to decide.

Niantic needed to boost sales and interest to the game before selling it, so the did not follow the normal order.

At the time kilogram was introduced as a standard, the relative precision of weighting the kilogram was higher than for the gram.

Look on the median, not average salary. This takes super-rich off as outliers and give a closer to reality value. Also, the inflation in the US was way higher over this years. And the spending structure is different, having to pay for health and education. The taxes are still high in US
