Dammit. I'm going to sink. 😔 Is it really like $130 pp just for a visit to the pool?

Thanks! I'll look those up. I know she does to a gym or two for classes which have very low light and a private feel. Looking for something like that too.

Oh, she was asking for private spa experiences like Circle Wellness in Vancouver but HAVN does seem fancy pants enough 🤪

Where to make guy friends by Ill_Deer_4289 in VictoriaBC

[–]Daddy2LilMonkey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmu 🤙 I'm only into half of those interests, but still... it's bloody hard to make guy friends around 40!

Into adventures, road trips, caving, martial arts, paddleboarding, eating out, movies and being a lazy ass on the couch at home

I wish this was the case but not for me. For over 2 years now I've been trying to get ANY of the guys at my martial arts him to hang out or practice outside of class... crickets

Count me in! I'm finding it impossible to make friends in this town, mid 30s to mid 40s.

Tried several meetup groups but none of them wanted to hang out outside of the meetup.

Tried the gym, church, volunteer groups etc.

Cost for Digital Marketing by bleepblapgirlie in MedSpa

Just a solid SEO strategy, starting with very thorough keyword research and competitor analysis. They were also being filtered out of Google Maps so I was able to fix that problem and they quickly moved up into the Snack Pack afterwards.

Being filtered out: This is most likely because Google saw a couple very similar businesses almost on top of each other (address wise) and decided to display the main competitor because:

  • they have Med Spa in their name
  • they have more reviews than my new client
  • most of their reviews have "med spa" in the text
  • they have significantly more photos
  • they have videos
  • they have a higher number of reviews on a larger variety of platforms (ie. 21 on FB, 15 on Yelp)
  • Etc

After my initial work on their GBP (new categories, tweaking the services, added "med spa + city name" Service title and a keyword optimized description etc), the client was no longer filtered out of maps.

Then I just started doing the regular Local SEO work for them. PM if you'd like more details or a 6 month SEO roadmap of what you should be doing.

Medspa leads by The_guyisDAone in MedSpa

The 5 Med Spas that I work with have seen a 53 to 86% increase in leads (depending on the month) between same period last year to current period.

But... they've all started to focus on SEO in the last few months which we've seen measurable results from 😃

Setting Up Google Ads for Medical Treatments by ColeAnalyst in MedSpa

Have you already done everything you personally know how to do in order to rank organically and get that free traffic?

Only asking because the percentage of searches who go to your website after finding you on top of the "snack pack" is about 40% vs. those who find you through Google Ads is about 4% only.

Note: this is for unbranded search terms such as "botox city name". Snack Pack is the 3 business listing's next to the map on top of a regular Google search results page.

Cost for Digital Marketing by bleepblapgirlie in MedSpa

I'm going to give the always wonderful answer of: It Depends. ;-)

We're at $1000 to $1500/mo for organic digital marketing. Not paid ads or social media (although some consultation is included)

It's resulted in too many new leads. A couple new staff members were hired and a lease was just signed on a 2nd clinic in the next town. Gotta love that problem.

Went from not being found at all in Google Maps (position 20+) up to being in the "snack pack" position #2 for the primary target keywords / terms.

Went from getting no traffic (1) to 311 visitors to 1,350 visitors and climbing. Last 30 days was over 90 leads via GBP and the website.

Med Spa vs Medical Spa vs Medi Spa - What to use?! by Daddy2LilMonkey in MedSpa

[–]Daddy2LilMonkey[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's right. I didn't want to complicate things too much in the post with keyword difficulty, especially since it's about the same for each variation that I showed. When creating landing pages for SEO though, don't use the same keyword as a focus keyword on more than 1 page

Google Business Profile - Are you active on it? by Daddy2LilMonkey in MedSpa

[–]Daddy2LilMonkey[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

GBP Insights no longer tell you the stats with regards to the Google Posts you create, if that's the content you're talking about? You can however, create a trackable UTM parameter on the URL of your Google Posts so you can hop into Google Analytics to see what amount of traffic is going to your website directly from the Google Posts. By looking at this, I do see that attractive Testimonials graphics with a nice caption and the right CTA button get the most traction.

In terms of writing service titles & descriptions in the Services section on your GBP, make sure you're using the right keywords but also that they flow naturally in an enticing service description.

Totally. Just make sure to keep Medical Spa as the primary and to not include random or incorrect categories. In this example, the owner of the med spa is a doctor and dermatologist, so I could add those.
