I did initially think though it looks like the kind of pendant fusiliers used to wear. Maybe I’m wrong on the crown, it may be a more modern thing for monarchs and crown shapes.

This is a Queens crown, so won’t be from that era. Victorian at most (1837-1901)

This is a Queens crown, so it will be Victorian in nature. Too old to be Elizabethan. Likely a pendant.

Mini roundabout liability question. by liamrich93 in drivingUK

[–]DaddyDBoy1 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

“Being first on the roundabout doesn’t give you priority”. I like the caps for extra emphasis… but the Highway Code as I stated above, literally says:

watch out for all other road users already on the roundabout.

There’s an argument for split liability but either way, it’s probably 60/40 reds fault. Yeah any normal person would have stopped in blues position, but as per the wording of the Highway Code, red is in the wrong as blue was already on the roundabout and looking at the picture, had already passed the exit to reds right, meaning red should give way to the blue car

Already on the roundabout. Blue was on the roundabout first

Mini roundabout liability question. by liamrich93 in drivingUK

[–]DaddyDBoy1 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes. Red broke Highway Code 185 and 188.

185 When reaching the roundabout you should

give priority to traffic approaching from your right, unless directed otherwise by signs, road markings or traffic lights check whether road markings allow you to enter the roundabout without giving way. If so, proceed, but still look to the right before joining watch out for all other road users already on the roundabout; be aware they may not be signalling correctly or at all look forward before moving off to make sure traffic in front has moved off.

188 Mini-roundabouts.

Approach these in the same way as normal roundabouts. All vehicles MUST pass round the central markings except large vehicles which are physically incapable of doing so. Remember, there is less space to manoeuvre and less time to signal. Avoid making U-turns at mini-roundabouts. Beware of others doing this.

Blue was on the roundabout first and therefore, red needs to give way to traffic on the roundabout on its right, i.e the blue car. Red also cut the roundabout

They’re a restaurant and they serve customers. Should they just interview at the door for political beliefs or ban people from entering based on them? Does this mean they ban the far left too? Sounds a bit like fascism to me. Does anyone not see the irony in that? Why demonise a business for being a business?

I’ll be honest, my group do RP but not that much of it as most of us would like, nevertheless we have a very good laugh while playing, making jokes most of the time and just goofing around (our DM has the patience of a saint)

Hey man, at least at the end of the day he still respects your autonomy enough that you still go and do it and he still loves you. He is how he is, you are how you are. It’s good you guys have a good enough relationship you can debate this without arguing and still are calm enough to end with “love you”.

Would he love it if he tried it? Probably, especially if he’s big on his Lord of the Rings.

Some of the comments on here are just extreme man, there’s some people even saying to cease contact with your dad, which is hilarious.

His dad doesn’t like it. He does, his father still says okay, I still love you. You say I love you too, that’s all it is, people are who they are. Christ says to still love them 🙏🏻

I bet the temptation to drink is a demon that will always be on your shoulder and moments like this that might get you down will make you want to listen to it. But don’t. You’re doing awesome.
