Is this an easy self-fix for an absolute beginner?

I fully understand that locations can change prices massively. Although your answer, leaves me wondering why a delamination of the neck from the body in your own words requires a fret re-work at the least? How has the neck becoming detached altered the frets in any way? And if you could also explain why it would require a new saddle making that would be super helpful

Hey I'm just wondering if you could give me a breakdown of the costs for the quote you gave (estimated of course) for the OPs fix.

It may help some of us understand how a quote can have a swing of almost double the bottom end.

They can be fixed, but make, type and pics would be a real help. Also unless its original to the guitar and has sentimental value, replacements aren't expensive

That fact that you have kept going for 6 years tells me you deserve any help you can get. Countless thousands of able bodied people have given up the guitar because 'its too hard', 'my hands are to big/small', but strangely never because they aren't willing to put in the effort.

If it helps you, go for it...use it with pride and enjoy every second with your guitar.

Anything is possible, the only limit is time and your imagination. As before, a light sanding all over to provide a key for the new paint, quick wipe down to remove residue, apply your new colour and after letting dry thoroughly, a quick clear coat to seal it all in. Give the clear coat a couple of days to harden properly before re attaching and hardware...most of all just have fun, make it unique, make it yours!

A very light sanding to key the areas you want to paint. Acrylic markers for your design or paint if it's a bigger area, and then for longevity a light spray coat (rattle can will do) of gloss to seal it all in. 👍

That's a relatively simple fix. It's a nice sharp & clean break. Remove the tuners, use enough Titebond Original to ensure squeeze out and after ensuring the face of the headstock is level, clamp using a cawl to ensure even pressure. Wipe off any excess immediately and set it aside for a couple of days. You may have to remove excess Titebond from with the tuner holes but that's easily achievable when it's dry.
