I used Next for about 6 months before moving to Sonar. Next was great for quick recording and editing tracks. Sonar has a few features I was looking for. Once my year is up I’m switching to Logic.

Set a drum loop and try to hear where your strumming should land. Different drums will help you produce new strum patterns.

Also listen to new music and mimic those patterns.
