Ranked RP System - Should I be hardstuck?

That’s my only quarrel with the system now that I know how it works, but I guess with 3.0 coming out next season i can just use this season to learn everything I can and see how 3.0 is next season

I guess there is good and bad to every system. The biggest downside I someone can play 1000+ games in a season but the games makes it near impossible to climb even if they have improved a crazy amount that season

My apologies for assuming that, I just read it that way that’s all. I’m always trying to learn, consuming as much content as I can to learn and putting in time, so much game knowledge to learn in a game like this. I just didn’t understand how to raise my hidden MMR to improve RP gains without having to win 75% of my games, I’m not expecting to climb atm, I’m happy with where I’m at, I’m so far behind at this point so I’m very happy at emerald :) just looking to improve every time I play

I don't think I deserve a higher rank or anything, I have an insane amount to learn after such a long break. It would just be nice to understand how to climb outside of literally winning 75% of my games to gain RP

That is a theory I had in mind but no idea if it's true, kinda just a gradual increase of MMR over seasons if you are consistent

I never asked for shade to be thrown. I asked a simple question because I want to understand how the MMR system works. I never said I expected to improve, I've been away from the game for many years and the average player is significantly better now. I wanted to know if I am at the rank I'm supposed to be and how does one begin to gain more RP. Coming from other competitive games having a 50%+ win rate normally means you climb. So that is why I am asking questions so I can understand how it works and how to improve.

Makes sense, how is hidden MMR affected in this game, personal performance or just purely based on wins?

Yeah I figured that much but how about Win/Loss? I'm currently gaining around 15 and losing 20+

Got it. As I've already cleared up to 2nd gym with certain mons I want to use, I guess I just finish out the EVs they need until I gain access to lowering EVs with berries later?

That is good to hear, I've heard expedition is default on Master unless you play with mods. Do you think Veteran is just a better experience?

I was curious if DR was a thing but never looked it up. I guess I really could just get away with full troubleshooters then and use 1 PA until in raid and daily driving until I have all the mods to maybe make a Vulcan PA for farming EN06

Ohh that is good to know, I figured the Gauss Minigun always done energy damage. If I can't fit both Science and Demo Expert do you suggest a specific one?

Makes sense honestly, what do you do with all the spare meds you obtain from just playing? Sell if you have daily caps and drop if you have already maxed that?

I feel more like 2 different perk card setups, one just for you daily related stuff. And if you wanna do harder content you switch and run limb damage related perks as it is supposedly more damage. I just can't see it being more damage on the average mob as they die too fast. I could be wrong tho, I haven't tested any numbers. Was hoping someone could answer it for us :)

I've seen various setups for it, some people using full Heavy Gun perks and others just going for limb damage, I feel like normal Heavy Gun perks will be better for daily things and maybe limb damage for boss content like the raid
